The Place for Things

NINJABALL is the premiere Paintball Tournament in the Pacific Northwest. There's few things better than showing up to Doodlebug Sportz at the buttcrack of dawn and seeing rows of cars, trailers, and RV's gearing up and getting ready to play the best sport in the world.

It is a true honor to get to capture these teams on and off the field while they fight it out to try. My only goal with these NINJABALL short films is to show what Paintball truly feels like. From the cigarette smoke to the curse words that pollute the air, there's an aura surrounding Paintball Tournaments that you simply CANNOT experience anywhere else in the world.

To everyone at Doodlebug Sportz, from the players to the staff - I want to say thank you for your friendship and the memories I will never forget. Paintball has given me so much since my first NINJABALL video ever and it is all thanks to YOU. I love you all with all of my heart.

SHOUTOUT QUINTON PETERS for being the only person crazy enough to hop on the field and help me film some Paintball. Watching you on the field filming Paintball for the first time brought me so much joy. I hope you'll continue filming and eventually playing.

SHOUTOUT JAKE BLACKSTAFFE for a million reasons. You were the one who got me to begin filming and vlogging my Paintball Experience. I am forever in debt to you. You're truly my Canadian Father. Also, thank you for the footage you contributed to this video. You're a good person and a great cinematographer.

SHOUTOUT DANNY CORT for being a role model for so many kids. What you do could never be put into words but I just wanted to say thank you for everything you've done for the community and for myself. Your work ethic is something I admire so much and I hope that one day I can be a little more like you. Also, thank you for the Drone footage. This video is so much better because of your work.

MAJOR SHOUTOUT to all of the teams that let me be a fly on the wall on and off the field. I realize having a camera around you all the time is difficult but I really believe we’re documenting a side of the sport that outsiders like me can fall in love with.

This really is the best sport in the world. I feel so grateful to be apart of this community.

We should be able to get him on the pro field at an NXL. You know, once we have NXL's again.

WOW! That was quite possibly the coolest video I have watched in years...the lack of a soundtrack and just the raw footage...that was like the emotion of Hero’s for a Day wrapped up in a 5 minute little gift box of pure paintball happiness! Loved every second of that short...I’ll probably veg out a few more times on it! Well done! Well done!!!!

It's a good series. I have only been to a few. But it's super smoothly run. no real lag time in between games. Paint is always on point from GI. Regardless of peoples "opinions" on GI paint.

Dylan has a knack for creating really good videos. He’s also a helluva paintball player. We got the chance to play against him ( SDS ) at the last Ninjaball of 2019.

Ninjaball has been steadily improving year after year, win or lose it’s always fun, and I think we’ve all made a ton of good memories and friends participating in them.
