Does any have the low down on the Tippmann Raider....i was curious about it and possibly buying it but I don't see being advertised for sale anymore?!

I heard from one of the beta testers that it is not ready yet..something about the linkage to the hopper portion.

I'm a sponsored Tippmann player, what I've heard is the Raider had a production issue, so the initial order that were the first 600 units to hit the factory needed a piece fixed. So those pieces are being made and then they have to be installed inside and then they will be ready. No clue how long that process takes, but they are working on it.

I got to use a prototype at Splatterparks big game last fall and it was SICK! I put a Deadly winds carbon fiber barrel on it (10 inch) with an Apex 2 and it was so much fun! Feels like a magfed marker as it is very light weight (especially with that barrel) and it doesn't have a hopper sticking up.

Your video and the few i've seen out there really make me want to get one, especially because I like having mask cam and the hopper is always in the way

I especially want to just go mech only. I bought an emek because it was mechanical but still ended up with an electric hopper.

Can't wait to get my hands on this one, however, have very little faith in Tippmann lately due to their inability to keep a media presence or in contact with their fans.

How much longer does the APEX 2 add to the 10" barrel? I have a 14" barrel and don't feel like buying yet another one to support just for the raider (though I guess I might have to since my emek would be relegated to loaner status if/when this marker comes out). From your video, the barrel looks just about right, to me. Any longer might look kind of silly.

Since GI Sportz owns Tippmann maybe an Ion Bolt?

Asked tippmann on FB. When covid happened they postponed the release / ceased production on a few projects including the raider.

Didn't stop them from launching all three versions of the Stormer.

Got a hold of a rep from Tippmann and they said for now, the Raider is on hold, due to Covid 19. I am assuming the release date could be anywhere between 2021 or even 2022. Not what they said, just what I am assuming
