Temperature compensation for dwell

So like clockwork the colder it is and thus the colder the gun, the more dwell you need versus warmer temps. And like clockwork it's pretty much 2 or 3ms that's needed to compensate. Couldn't there be a feature to manage this change?

Yes, it's called a sensing valve.

Specifically the chamber-sensing valve in the M3. Since the solenoid shuts off the supply and the valve shifts to shutoff the chamber prior to it emptying, you can max out the dwell for cycling reliability and leave it there year-round with no penalty.

Additionally, that's kind of the point of FSDO/ABS settings.
