2k4 hammer spring question..

Just purchased the lower tube kit for my 2k4 and I’m looking for suggestions on which spring to install to start with?

The build:

Random delrin bolt I found?

ID everything else.
ID hpr
ID lpr
ID 3way
ID ram
(Obviously) ID hammer, valve, etc.

Less worried about shots per fill. Really want a smooth buttery shot.

For spring kits I tend to prefer the standard three color kits (green, blue, red) because of the simplicity and the fact that if I am having an issue it is very intuitive which spring I need to use. I have purchased my last few from NFG customs. They are like $9 and works great.

That said if you really want to tinker/tune to perfection, Inception has a large spring kit that would really allow for some fine tuning. Thes have 5 different springs to choose from for both the valve and hammer vs the three on your typical colored spring kit you'd find. For a super smooth shot you'll just have to tinker around as every gun sort of has its own personality.

The bolts efficiency is actually really important to the overall performance and springs you can use.

For a smoother shot you want to run a lighter LPR pressure which means a lighter main spring. Start out with the C Valve Spring and C or D Main hammer spring and see what velocity you can get when sweetspotting the regulator. If you need more or less velocity then change the main hammer spring up or down accordingly.
