Sorry for the confusion guys. There is no mech frame for the LV.

To explain - the mechanical actuator valve (in place of the solenoid) used in the CS2 mech frame applies the "LV1 lever valve concept" to it. While I haven't seen a detailed breakdown of this yet, I'm guessing there's a lever somewhere between the trigger and valve to allow a shorter/lighter pull, thanks to a mechanical advantage offered by the lever. Or perhaps I'm wrong, we'll wait for an explanation.
|
That makes sense. I thought it could work reasonably well if there was a mechanical 3way that worked at a fixed dwell after being tripped by the trigger and resets in a known time. The rest of the tuning would be handed by the lpr and light vs heavy rammer.
I'm sure if it was that easy someone would have done it by now.
I thought a hinge trigger could essentially already achieve this lever mechanical advantage but I'm sure PE has found a way to refine it.

Yeah,
This new Lever Trigger Frame should definitely be able to be set up for a quicker trigger pull than the CVO.
And the race is still on...

I for one Would pay more for a kit with a reg assembly, and pops ASA so changing back and forth would be a breeze with all of 2 screws.

I concur.
I think it's logical to make this an "a la carte" type of package:
Frame only for $X
-Add ASA/HPR assembly for $Y
Or not. Either way, I'm buying it and I don't even have a CS2. Yet.

To be fair, I think you can piece together an asa, and reg assembly by just buying the spare parts from eclipse or from a dealer. This is a very hit up your local field or eclipse dealer and ask for parts kinda deal. Unless you live in Canada, then GOOD LUCK BUD
I literally waited 18 months to get one stupid reg filter, I really wish the support is better at least in places not called lower Ontario or Québec. That is honestly my only real gripe with Eclipse.

That would be the logical thing to do. Give the consumer a choice.

Jack asked for feedback regarding the reg/pops option for the kits. Just figured I’d get the ball rolling in here.

If I could get a frame with the Pops and reg, I would be willing to pay more.
