Procaps/DXS will be the exclusive paint provider for all MSXL events in 2011. Procaps will be manufacturing an exclusive custom tournament grade ball for the MSXL of the highest grade available for only $40 a case. The MSXL/Procaps partnership will allow the MSXL to continue to develop World Champions at a fraction of the cost to participate in other Regional Series. MSXL/PSP Events:

The PSP is taking steps to make it possible for talented players of all sizes, ages and pay grades to compete nationally. Currently, smaller and wealthier players have an edge in the PSP. The field layouts have not been friendly to larger players, and the teams with heavy financial backing can afford to practice the field layout every weekend. It’s time to make sure the most talented players are the ones excelling in the PSP, not just the most fortunate.
After speaking with many current and past players of the PSP as well as our Master Sponsors, we have decided to make the following changes:
• Lengthen the field 10 feet per side (Total size will now be 120 x 170 feet)
• Eliminate Pit-side coaching and communication
• Field Layouts will not be released prior to the events
• Adjust position of bunkers to better suit a wider variety of players
• Adjust classification system for D1 – Pro, now that the Semi-Pro division is absent
We’re taking the game in a direction that will include more players, as opposed to excluding them as has been done in the past. We need to make sure players can still compete when they turn 30 or are not in a financial position to practice every weekend. We feel this is the right thing to do for our customers and our business as well as the sport and industry.
The PSP is here for the long run. These steps are in an effort to include more people in the game, while still making sure the ones with the best paintball skills win. More information on the 2011 season will be released right here at www.pspevents.com in the weeks to come.

MSXL will be upgraded from Support Series to Full Affiliate League status.

We will participate in the APPA Universal ID system: This ID will get you in the PSP events and all Affiliate Leagues.
The MSXL is going to take this a step further and offer discounts to all card holders when you come to a MSXL host field to practice for events.

The MSXL will be upgrading to PSP scoreboards and pit monitors for 2011 thanks to our Platinum Sponsors DYE/Proto and the PSP
Also new 2011 regulation Bunkers thanks to our Series Partners Draxxus.

why dont you do first place series for open division free entry to cup with a minimum of 6 teams per event, kinda sucks that the higher divisions get nothing for series, dont give anything for 3rd place at events.

the way it is now is $600 per open team with only 50 bucks each going to entry split 3 ways. that means if 8 teams play open thats 400 bucks toward prizes, so 1st place would get 200 bucks, second would get 120 and third would get 80 bucks. now with the $4800 made from entry and only $400 going to prizes where does the extra $4400 go to?????............ and that is if there are only 8 teams PER event. with 4 events at 8 teams a piece making $4400 extra from entry not going to prizes, (not including paying the fields i know about that) but that is $17,600. and thats only for open division. BUT D-3 and D-4 get free entry and 1/2 entry for second place and 20 cases of paint and D-3 gets $1000 at the eclipse booth at cup. but we cant even get like a D-2 or D-3 free entry to cup. I know it is your series and you can do as you please but that sucks for us that want and HAVE to compete at a higher level. me and my team have played the MSXL for 2 years (as well as alot of other teams) and we all have promoted you well. this WILL make teams re-consider playing this league due to the fact that there is so much money spent and not alot returned
