Disc Golf v.6

These threads always come in and out because people stop posting, but I've lately been getting back into the sport in full swing so I am bringing back the thread as well.

Anyone been playing lately? I just snagged a few new drivers and realized I have a pretty decent backhand. My flick used to be much better but it's rusty as of late.

Flicks are rad but I just use an under stable disc. Flicks are bad for your elbow in the long run.

I find discs too but I return them if they have a number. I would want someone to call me if I lost mine. But if they have no number then it's fair game.

I know we have more disc golfers on the nation. We used to talk all the time. So in some attempt to keep this thread alive I give you this. The course map to 1 of 6 courses I'm playing at at this weeks Big Foot Tournament. I'm pretty stoked.

Map made me giggle too.

I try to disc golf once every few weeks. I suck at the flick but my backhand is pretty solid.

I took this little collection pic a while back, I've added a Banger GT since. Looking to get rid of my dx plastics soon too, going to replace them with star.

I played a course in Steamboat, Colorado this summer. Threw one of my best drives ever and then watched as it rolled down the mountain and over the edge.

I recently started playing with some buddies, bought a set of Innova champion discs, it's pretty legit.

I realize we have more plate golfers on the country. We used to talk constantly. So in some endeavor to keep this string alive I give you this. The course guide to 1 of 6 courses I'm playing at this weeks Big Foot Tournament. I'm pretty fed.

My brother is big into disc golf. He ran a tournament for a few years in the Lehigh Valley and runs inbounds disc golf (http://www.inboundsdiscgolf.com) and authored the inflight Guide. I swear he's hit every course on the east coast at some point. My sister in law used to get annoyed when they'd take "breaks" on long trips to hit disc golf courses near the highway. I've played with him a few times and it's fun and all but not my cup of tea.

This thread is so old it's scary, but it's on the front page so what the heck.

DG is a booming sport right now. It's completely replaced PB for me. The pro tournament video production quality is already way above anything in PB, see below.

Just watch your plant foot form on backhand drives. After about 1.5 years playing I've stuffed my right knee meniscus because I was on the toes too much and am taking a few months out. Hopefully it heals, because if not that's the end of DG for me
