Agreed way better than HSP!! HSP has crap for refs...

You should check out Jungle as well one of my favorite parks not associated with Giant.

Went to sc village the other day for some rec ball, as their air and hyper is kinda dead compared to other places..and sc was the best around for rec... Guess the owner became even stupider and decided to **** up what was left of the park even more by making gun hits and BOUNCES count on rec ball. **** THAT me and my friends are never going back.

Ref said its the owners decision....well so much for SCV right

I have played there 4 times since last June - one thing I noticed that the rule are varies on referee. Some referees wouldn't call us out on bounce and some would do that. I played with Extreme Pro as private group, I asked referee if we got bounce and we're out - he said no. *shrug*

lol doesn't surprise me. And most of the ref's there are little more than not trained monkeys.

A co-worker invited a bunch of us to go paintballing here. It was my first time and it was pretty addicting. We had a group of 6 and ended up joining 2 other walk on groups to make a private group. A couple of us had rental issues at first, but everything was handled well and we played a bunch of games. I ended up buying my own gun and am planning on going back here soon.

Thinking of going to SC sometime in the next year for the first time, some quick questions:

Are all of the scenario fields open to walk-ons, or do you have to reserve a group to play those? I can play airball/speedball at home, so I'm not super worried about that.

Is it FPO? How much is paint?

What time of year does the field open for walk-ons? I couldn't find it on their website.

How many people show up on Fridays/Saturdays?

Thank you!

typically at sc they split the walk on rec players into 2 large groups of beginners and intermediate. they decide which fields you play on but I assume all the fields are open given they aren't flooded or something . maybe if you reserve with a group you can pick which fields you want to play on, im not sure on this ive never reserved with a group.

you can bring your own paint. they have paint to buy there but I advise you bring your own. not the best quality there.
I believe sc village is open year round but only open on weekends now.
this past weekend I played rec ball and we had close to 20 on 20 with the intermediate group.

overall id say there were 200 people there this weekend but all split up doing different game modes, private parties etc etc
hope this answers some of your questions.
anyone feel free to correct me.
