Classifications: --- Division 4
Teams are allowed to roster 1 player with an APPA ranking of Division 3. All other players must have an APPA status of Division 4 or lower.
Roster Size & Limits: --- Division 4 - Teams may roster a maximum of 5 players and 2 staff members in this division. Teams may roster 1 player that holds an APPA rank of Divisino 3, all other rostered players must hold an APPA rank of Division 4 or LOWER to compete in this division. There is a maximum of 40 teams allowed in this division.
All rosters must be completed by the Monday of the week of the event. This is to ensure that all rosters can be checked and confirmed. Any addition made after this deadline will be at a cost of $20 per addition, there is no charge to drop a player from a roster.
ID Cards:
All players and staff will be required to have a current PSP ID/Membership card to sign in at any VICIOUS Series event in 2010, including the 2010 DSSP8ntball.com 4 Man Classic. All players and staff must also be in good standing with the league at the time of the event to be allowed to participate. PSP Membership cards can be purchased through the APPA Website via your individual player profile.
Once a player pays for their 2010 PSP Membership card or 2010 VICIOUS Series Membership card, they will only be able to pick this card up at PSP events. However, once a player pays their membership fee, this is noted on the team's roster and the player's profile. As long as a player has paid their Membership fee, they will be allowed to use a government issue ID to check in. Again this is ONLY allowed once the player has paid their 2010 PSP Membership Fee or 2010 VICIOUS Membership Fee
Game Time:
Each game will be 5 minutes long.
Rate of Fire:
----- Division 4 will have a 12.5bps rate of fire cap and must be in a PSP approved firing mode
Paint Info:
The 2010 DSSP8ntball.com 4 Man Classic is EVENT PAINT ONLY. We are proud to be partnered with RPS Paintballs/Evil for the 2010 year. RPS Paintballs/Evil will be on hand for the event, and we will have 3 grades of paint available for $52, $57, and $62 (plus sales tax) per case of 2000 paintballs. Paint must be paid for with either Cash or Credit Card only.
Player Misconduct:
Player misconduct penalties can be assessed by any judge on the field, as well as the Ultimate Judge. Any action deemed to be player misconduct can result in a 1 for 1 penalty, 2 for 1 penalty, suspension, and or ejection. Actions deemed inappropriate can include swearing, hostile physical contact between individuals, throwing equipment, or just being a poor sport and making the event less fun for other players (this includes counter-coaching, etc)
Color Rule:
The colors Orange and Pink are banned colors at the 2010 DSSP8ntball.com 4 Man Classic. Any of these colors may absolutely not appear on jerseys, pants, markers, loaders, etc. This also includes but is not limited to stickers and logos on equipment and player clothing.
Some Clothing Rules:
All players must wear long pants and a long-sleeve jersey type shirt. Player clothing may not have excessive holes, rips, tears, or anything else that would inhibit a Referee’s ability to monitor a player.
Metal and ceramic spikes and cleats are not allowed at the 2010 DSSP8ntball.com 4 Man Classic. Track spikes are acceptable as long as the spikes have been removed. This is done to ensure the safety of players, staff, and the fields.
Player’s clothing worn on the field may not contain the colors Orange or Pink, as these colors are banned for the 2010 season in the 2010 DSSP8ntball.com 4 Man Classic.
Coaching:
Spectators may coach players from the snake sideline only. No counter-couching will be tolerated. Individual's listed on a team's roster as Staff may coach during their team's games, from the snake sideline only. If you appear on a team's roster as a player, you may not coach during that team's games.
Spectators:
Spectators are encouraged to come out and support their team. All that we ask is that fans respect the officiating staff as well as all of the players at the event. Counter-coaching or other unsportsmanlike behavior by any player or spectator will not be tolerated.

The 2010 DSSP8ntball.com 4 Man Classic is held at Metro Paintball Games located in Council Bluffs, IA.
Media:
The VICIOUS Series does not charge for media passes. However, as media, the VICIOUS Series’ only request is to make all other media files available for the players, families, and friends to enjoy. Photographers interested in attending any of the VICIOUS RaceTo events this year should email JTopping@discountspecialtysports.com to inquire about a media pass.

The third event in the XPC Tournament Series will be held Sunday July 25th. This event will be a five-man PSP event OPEN to all teams and will follow 2010 PSP rules. If you’re not familiar with PSP events, the rule book can be found here:
The field layout for the event will be the layout for the PSP Event #3 – Mid Atlantic Open (MAO)
The actual format of the event will depend on the number of teams entered and may simply involve playing other teams in a traditional preliminary round, or may involve bracketing of teams and following a RaceTo-2 format for the prelims. Rate of fire will be capped at 12.5 balls per second per national PSP rule standards (PSP mode / ramped) and markers must chrono at 300 fps or lower. A violation of either will result in the penalties described under Player Misconduct being assessed against the team. Sideline coaching is allowed on the snake side of the field and only one person can coach at a time.
Tournament Structure
The tournament will be set up for a 10 team minimum and will be capped at 20 teams. Event #3 will be an Open tournament. The use of the APPA system will ensure that teams and individuals competing in series events are classified properly. More information on the APPA system can be found here:
Please ensure you have an acceptable picture loaded into the APPA system. Acceptable pictures will clearly show your headshot and be easily verifiable by a government issued photo id (driver’s license, school id, etc.). If your ID cannot be verified, then you will not be able to play in the tournament and no refund will be given as a result.
Entry Fees
The entry fee for each team is $300.00 and a team roster can include up to 7 people. Tournament-grade paint will be available at the event for $55 per case. Please note that the registration deadline is Wednesday, July 21st at midnight.

The tournament layout will be available for practice on Saturday, July 24th, from noon until 6:00PM and field walking will be possible from 6:00PM to Close on Saturday, July 24th as well.
Miscellaneous
Captain’s meeting will begin at 9:00AM on July 25th, with play beginning at 9:30AM.
Event registration will be handled through APPA.
A credit card will hold your place for the tournament though ONLY CASH will be accepted at the tournament.

Player Misconduct
Player misconduct penalties can be given by any field judge, including the head judge. If a player has been assessed a misconduct, the penalty can result in a 1 for 1 penalty, 2 for 1 penalty, suspension, and or ejection. There are several actions that are completely unacceptable, which include swearing, any sort of hostile, physical, threatening, and intimidating behavior, throwing equipment, poor sportsmanship, and even childish and immature behavior can result in a misconduct penalty. Arguing on the field with a judge’s call will result in an immediate 1 for 1 penalty and if not curtailed a 2 for 1 penalty and potential suspension or ejection from the event. To be clear, counter-coaching is also considered a misconduct.

Game Story
The government of Krasnovia is a brutal repressive regime run by the Krasnovian National Army (KNA). Anybody who opposes the government is either imprisoned, executed, or made to disappear.
A rebellion has begun to overthrow the KNA and establish a democracy. The opposition has been forced to flee to the countryside in order to organize and instigate a resistance movement.
United Special Operations Command (USOC) aircraft have been assisting the local rebels (“guerillas”) in their fight to overthrow the repressive government of the KNA. Three aircraft have been shot down in the latest battle. All six aircrew are known to have made it to the ground safely, and are employing their S.E.R.E. (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) training as they disperse into the area. Per their training, they will try to evade capture while attempting to be rescued and evacuate from the operations area.
The Government/KNA wants to capture the aircrew to interrogate them and put them on display as prisoners of war. Once interrogated, the information gained will enable the KNA to escalate their campaign against the KFC with the end goal of completely eradicating any anti-government resistance and capturing as much of the KFC leadership as possible. Achieving this goal would enable the KNA to cement their hold on power by totally eradicating any resistance in the country.
The Krasnovian Freedom Coalition (KFC) guerillas want to locate the missing aircrew and return them safely to USOC. This will prove goodwill on the part of the resistance, and it is widely thought by local insurgent commanders that the return of the missing aircrew will ensure more air support, or even be a way to increase the involvement level of USOC to help them liberate their country from the KNA.

The locals refer to them as "Tha Jankins" and to the “White Lightning” (illegal moonshine) they make. The Jenkins' business has tripled in size over the past 2 years, no thanks to J. Edgar Hoover and his Federal Bureau of Investigations. The Bureau has taken special notice of the Jenkins and have decided to stop at nothing to bring them down. But the hard-nosed Jenkins don’t scare off that easily and are ready to fight to get their “White Lightning” produced, distributed, and sold. Get ready for the most epic and exciting battles the hills will ever see as the Jenkins bandits and the federal agents get themselves and their weapons ready for a “batch” that will make the family a very nice payday. Will the FBI be able to stop the Jenkins family and put an end to "The Legend of White Lighting?"

There will be a Reality show filmed at OFF Limits Paintball. One of the things that will come of this is a charity tournament.
The executive producer of the show is Melissa Caudle. She has worked on shows such as "The little couple." and "Girls Next Door".
This tournament that goes on during this time will be televised. This is a great opportunity for those with sponsors to show off their sponsors, for those without sponsors to maybe get some attention, and those who want to play on TV to play on TV.
A lot of this is still in the works. There will be a pre-tournament party hosted at Phoenix Underground in Shreveport, LA. (Must be 21 to get in. sorry to those who are not). There will be entertainment provided above and beyond the extraordinary entertainment already provided by Phoenix Underground.
All of the Details are still being worked out, but I do know that the tournament is scheduled for November 19 & 20. The deadline to register will be Friday, Nov 11.

Film crews want to capture a little of the tournament scene for promotional (and possible production) purposes, so we need tourney ballers who are willing to set the standard on film! As with all scrimmages, sportsmanship is a must! There will be no air charge for this event only. Because it's Sunday (gun-owners day), there will be no FF either. Just pay for paint ($50 for scrimmage paint, $60 Formula, or $65 for Evil). Come support your sport!
The Red Army is looking for players who will fight for the Motherland and give the Axis forces a defeat that they wont soon forget.
The Battle for Stalingrad began in August of 1942 and lasted until the first of February 1943. The Germans began their attack with a large bombing raid that left most of the city in ruins.
After a few months of battle, the Germans captured 90% of the city and were along the banks of the Volga.
On the 19th of November 1942, the Soviets launched Operation Uranus, the first major counter-offfensive by the Russians. This counter attack changed the tide of the battle and opened the Germans to further attack by the Red Army.
