contact lenses

So i recently found out i had 20/70 vision, i play tournament paintball and am wondering if any of my fellow ballers wear contacts during play andif so have you had any problems with them? Im asking because i may need them and glasses dont seem as practical in serious play.

I'm sure there are a ton of people who use contacts. I don't know what my vision is on the 20/20 scale, but I'm nearsighted and use -1.75 contacts. It's no different than using them for daily life.

Just be careful rubbing your eyes since you're hands are dirtier than usual. I bring my solution with me though or contact lens safe eyedrops in case my eyes get itchy and dry, which happens more often playing than day to day.

I wore contacts when I played for years. If you're comfortable wearing them for hours it won't matter if you wear them under a mask.

I switched from glasses (had them since I was 12) to contacts when I was 31... specifically for paintball. Got tired of my glasses fogging up and leaving little scratches on the insides of my goggle lenses.

What I'll usually do is bring my glasses with me, along with a contact case and a little bottle of contact solution, as mentioned above. If I need to take them out, that way I can, and still be able to see.

Yeah I use contacts when I play. Just keep an extra pair or two in your bag just in case. The only real place they could fall out is a dead-zone rubbing your eye or something like that. I know one of my friends puts his glasses in a way in is mask so they stay in place and he can see through them.

i buy dailies specifically for paintball. Glasses are too much of a hassle with fogging.
