So where are all of us PBN old timers?

You step away from the game for 12 years and everyone disappears. Suprbugman, otter, nerobro, and so many others that were all about customizing and sharing... Am I the only one that has returned or did I miss everyone and came back too late? LOL

12 years ago facebook was still requiring a college log in to create a FB account. there were no FB groups back then, like there is today.

so the forums were the only real way to share information as a collective back then.

now facebook is commonplace and allot of groups have been created; which shifted attention and attendance away from the "archaic forms" to the modern current FB groups.

companies used to have forum accounts that customers could ask question, brain storm, and get advice directly from the vendor.

now companies can reach more people with FB.

Omg soccer dude. I want an AMG adapter 🙂 good to see familiar faces

I'm still playing around. I'm rocking my spyder amg with VS internals and a old school revy haha. It definitely brings attention to the newer kiddos.

So glad people are poking back in!

I got an AMG late last year and was reading up on the VS internals... I can't find too much info on the conversion. Was it difficult?

I’m happy that I got my Spyder Sonix finally working!

I shot Spyders forever lol. Had an AutoMag for a few months back in the day then when everybody went Electronic I went back to Spyders with an E-99.

My nephew has the E-99 for his first Marker now.

The conversion isn't too difficult. It does require modification to the main body. Thanks to Mr. Charlie he found my old thread. It does have some details there.

Basically if it's the standard spyder body it'll accept the VS2 internals by just swapping the internals. Simple as that. Then you'll have to take out the valve pin that holds the valve in place and cover the holes. I used the same valve pins, but I grinded the pins down and cemented the pins on the body. So mine became a permanent mod.

Honestly I want to look around for old school parts. I remember I bought a xylatron (sp?) striker from someone here. It was a limited run of strikers he made. I just don't remember his name, but it was the coolest looking striker. Super light also.
