Picked up a spyder flash (I think)

Looks like the ball detent is missing? Any idea where I can pick one up? Also, what does the detent do? I'm also trying to find the voltage/amperage so I can get a charger.

that is a spyder imagine.

this is a good reference.

the detent keeps the paintball in the "chamber". Without that, the balls will roll out the barrel. It is DEFINITELY needed.

ebay or ANSgear

Buy a universal wall charger that comes with all the connectors and can be set to different voltages.

The Imagine (like most all spyders) uses a 9.6v battery. This will be the biggest pain in the but for you. You can either buy a brand new name brand rechargeable 9v or look for a Kingman branded one.

Here is the 9.6v battery you want to use.

And either find a Spyder plug to charge through the gun, or you'll need a charger that can do 9.6v

most all chargers are not dead on the battery output voltage. A 12v lead avid battery charges at 14v. you can buy a 9v charger or you can buy a universal variable charger with different plug ends and use a DMM or volt meter to measure the voltage at 9v. Changes are it will be around 9-9.9v.
OR
you can buy all spyder stuff. Either way, youre going to spend more $ than what its worth; especially if the board or cap is bad.
OR
put a manual trigger on there from one of the many other spyder markers.
