My local field is having a clinic with Marcelo and Tyler next month I might have to go out and check one out in person. Maybe it'll change my mind on a poppet vs a spool.
I mean, they are available in all the major online retailers, facebook resellers, etc. Stores aren't as big of a sales point anymore for the high end marker range.

I've been doing "community outreach" with my Force and everyone I've had try it out immediately loved it. So we don't totally derail this thread I'd be happy to answer any questions you have about the Force (disclaimer: I'm in no way affiliated with Field One, I just like my Force a lot and have a decent technical understanding of most modern platforms)

If you have a brick and mortar shop you prefer supporting, have them reach out to F1, I'm sure they will work something out.

Back to the XTS. I find it difficult to compare its shot profile to anything else really, and will let someone who likes the gun more than me try to describe that. I really will say though the foregrip is a massive improvement and I like that feature a lot. I'm curious about the decision to go with the small screen in the side of the grip, feels like a very dated design choice to me.

This thread sure took a weird turn didn't it. I really hope that Mac Dev (and F1 for that matter) sells a bunch of these because having 6 companies selling nice high end guns is better for us as players than having 4 is.

Oh absolutely, which is why even though I really don't like the Prime I still support MacDev.

Awesome video.. The gun looks stout and definitely looks like it holds its own weight in its class

Nice video John! Glad you enjoy the xts and actually bought one!

Also nicely done James and the rest of the Macdev employees that had a hand in this marker!

In my own opinion this is not only the best looking gun on the market for my personal tastes but also the most amazing looking gun macdev has put out on the market yet! I am just in enthralled with this thing! It also looks crazy comfortable! I’ve loved my old droid, my clone gti, cyborg rx, clone 5 and now my prime (great ergonomics, I love the stock grips and the balance and weight are just about as perfect as I have felt thus far in a paintball gun). I’m hoping to get my hands on one sooner then later... or quite sure I want to get rid of anything else that I own for one though...so I might have to wait a few years to own one....but I definitely have my mind dead set on owning this marker at some point!

Marker is cool, but that jersey is the star.

Haha, I was wondering if anyone would say anything. I first met Jerry from MacDev when he was a standout on Rage so it seemed appropriate. Plus, I wanted a white jersey that a black gun would stand out against. It's a favorite and reasonably rare jersey.

It's almost embarrassing how much joy unexpectedly seeing that logo brought me. ER Park was my home field when I started playing as a kid around 06. I'd still like to get my hands on one of the old JT jerseys.

The video made me go to the MacDev website (which I have never done before) so I would say, "mission accomplished".

The Prime is out of my price range but am I am seriously considering picking up a Drone 2S. It seems to be a lot of gun for the money.

A used C5S, C5 Infinity or first gen Prime makes far more sense than buying a new Drone 2S.

I agree with imped, a used clone 5 infinity would be my choice. We just got on in for a local guy and it’s a hell of a bargain. My whole area is mostly pe and a smidge of dye and DLX. But now there will be way more macdev coming.

  1. No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
  2. Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
  3. If you don't like something, say why instead of just calling it ugly, lame, gay or any other name. If it is old, simply post a link or report the post with a link to the older News thread.
  4. Please don't post links for places to buy items. That encourages stores, sponsored players and other people to do it and spam the site.
