I got 1975 shots off a 68/45 when I did an efficiency test for my High-end Shootout. Using stock settings and pressures from the factory shooting at 285 and using a DW Fibur X barrel using SS inserts.

So I'm having a reoccurring leak near the ASA/grip. I've done the following:
+Ninja tank with all shims removed
+2nd Ninja tank with all shims removed
+Relubed o-ring between asa & gripframe (used monkeypoo)
+Shot 5-20 balls with the leak, and it will reseal
-Leak occasionally continues after shooting (during match)
-Leak always returns after degassing
-I am at higher altitude (Utah mountains)

I should have a new 1x o-ring kit coming from BLAST & the pressure tester should arrive today as well. I'll be trying to replace o-rings next. Zach @ BLAST had mentioned that a bad dive can damage the frame, but I don't believe this is the case, as it will usually reseal after shooting.

Any other tips? Can adjusting my HPR/LPR affect a leak coming from the ASA?

Last thing - my spool engine works great (aside from asa leak). My VIS engine has a constantly breach leak. I've replaced all the orings I could with matching o-rings I had in stock. I've relubed the entire engine multiple times. I've tried yourpbfriend's suggestions on his youtube video & anything I've found on here so far (such as 1 size larger o-ring on the rear can (006/007). Aside from the new o-rings coming from BLAST, any other suggestions? Can the HPR/LPR adjustments resolve this (even though the spool settings work for spool and it seems the VIS settings are more pressure?).

Thanks guys!

I would recommend not using monkey poo on the oring that is between the grip and asa. I would clean the area very well and use Dow 55 or 33 to help seal it. Check for obvious nicks or cracks in the oring or notch where the oring goes. When putting the asa back on make sure to alternate the tightening, so don't just tighten one side of the asa screw then do the other. Tighten it in a pattern as if you were tightening lug nuts on the wheel of your car.

As for the leak with the VIS, I would clean and brown donut of any lube and the housing piece were it sits. Check the donut for any damage but either way you should not have any lube on it. If the donut cleaning doesn't work, change the #11 oring on your ram and the #14 oring on the front can.

Hope this helps

I would try this.
Back the LPR all the way out and see if the leak disappears. If it does then he issue is one of the 06 orings on the bottom of the engine ( I think the forward most oring but others can verify) Replace it with a 07 and it should seal.

I'll also give that a try. I unfortunately didn't have time last night to tinker, so I'll give it a shot tonight if I can. Hopefully the o-ring kit arrives from BLAST today.

What are the G6R numbers? Curious how efficiency compares between the VIS Poppit and the G6R stacked Poppit

Thanks

The efficiency tests I've seen haven't been scientific enough for me to believe. If someone pm's me video of them doing a test I can average it with at least two others to produce accurate numbers.

Quick question...are any of you playing back man and using your VIS? If so, what are your settings?

I am curious because I have started to play more back anchor versus insert and want to be setup with more conservative settings that are as bulletproof as a paintball marker can be.

I am currently using a Dwell of 8, LPR of 62-63 and factory setting for the rest. Played an event Friday and while the gun shot great, it did feel on the edge a little. I need to be able to sit and just shoot pod after pod without any issues.

Should I just bump my LPR to 70?

Thank you.

Just make sure it's properly lubed, then run a dwell of 9 and LPR 65-70.

I'm having a vcom issue, cannot get over 280 even with hpr over 200, lpr is at 70 and dwell of 9ms. Paint is bore matched also and new battery. Has a small leak out the grip frame but seals up after one shot until degassed then on airup its back. Always seals up after one shot thou, I've relubed with 33 and changed out the ram o ring and both shutoff orings and nothing changes, and yes I've dine the 006's as well, even tried 007's. Nothing fixes it. Any tips or advise ?

If you are having a problem with the vcom engine I would start with an entire rebuild of the vcom engine and not use Dow 55. There must be drag in the engine somewhere. The shutoff would be my first guess.

The VCOM one-stop info would be a better thread to skim for answers. Give it a good read and look through people's relplies.

Smoke, read the first page for your new VIS engine. It will give you all the info you need.

Had a small-size leak coming from the VIS engine, DOW55 on the bottom 006s (have the correction 007s coming in soon) ended up patching it. Monkey Poo/33 on everything else aside from bolt head. Thanks bag for this thread as a new Victory owner, and to BPP for individual help
Now to get to that VCOM motor...

I'm glad it was an easy fix. You'll enjoy the Vcom engine. Who did you order the VIS through.
