I wonder if perhaps this http://iisports.com/product.asp?s=ii...dept_id=3 217 might work . If so I want one for my hammer.

That's it. Looks good to me. The thing I see down about it, is that it does not allow you to put grips on it. But hell, $4.50 I'm down LOL. Good find. Bookmark time.

Phantom .45 handles (for converting M16 frames) work on it, somebody in the pump forum did it.

NICE FIND!

edit: just got it in the mail and it needs to be modded to work with the maverick... I'm thinking of chopping it down and mounting it inside the stock grip... wish me luck

It's hard to make sure from the description, but it sounds like you would first need to put an M-16 grip on your Maverick in order to use this adapter.

The way I understood it is that this was the grip.

No one has actually gotten theirs in yet?

It wont work without modification unless you have an m16 grip. The maverick eurogrips are not the same.

My modded maverick will be up soon, I just need to paint it.

I got the $4.50 grip and yes it needs modding. I'm gunna hack mine apart and try an idea... I should have bought 3 of them. the holes for the asa are really far apart too

I bought two but that dissappoints me that they need modding. And what do you mean the holes are a long way apart? Do they still fit a normal ASA?

the asa mounting holes are 1 1/4 inch apart... too far apart for a standard asa I cut mine today and ended up with a totaly usable product that makes me happy I know how to do things!

a little Gorilla glue and POW! I'm a happy camper with my stock and reddot sight! all the work took me 1 hour... easy as pie! when I take the stock off the hole for mounting the grip to the maverick is inline through the stock grip and the bottom line mod. the allen key still works like normal...

What did you use to do that?
But if we wanted to put a ASA on to that after we did what you did above we would have to drill a new hole?

I used a hacksaw and a bench grinder to do the insert ($4.50 thingy) I used a Dremel with the aluminum milling bits to hollow out the stock grip and then I just glued it in...

yes, the $4.50 grip asa mount holes are spaced far apart, so if you were gunna bottom line it, you would need to drill a hole in your bever tail or asa adapter
O <--- 1 1/4"--->O is the size center to center of the holes.

Track down a eurogrip ASA, bolt up. or a lonestar asa that will bolt up with some mods.

funny how the asa is mounted... the 1/8 npt hole for the macro line elbow dosen't look right. all the asa's I've seen have the hole on the side not top or bottom.
it's mounted on the non feed side or bottom of the marker...
unless there's a bracket between the grip frame and the breach, using the front thumb screw to hold it , the cocking bar/rod would get in the way

looks cool, but how strong is it? where did you get the pic?

I believe, from what I read, it is a unique asa that belongs to some gun. But thats the problem, I can't remember where I read it. lol
