clean and lube usually solves this issue.

No charge and you can ship it in to us with a note that has all your info. If we get it then all good but if not we will toss out the tank.
Is this an open offer? I meant to drop my SL bottle with a stuck reg off at the booth at last year's NXL events, but I never got it done. With no concrete event dates coming up, I'd love to mail it in and have you guys look at it.

If I do mail it in, can I send it with just the bottom half of the reg? I'd like to take off the bonnet, fill nipple, gauge, internals, etc. as spares for my other Ninja regs in case the bottle end up being condemned.

I bought a new Ninja Pro V2 SHP for 3000psi HP regulator and wanted to adjust the output pressure by removing shims and saw that the belleville spring stack did not match the picture in the manual (see attached pic)
There are two springs facing in the same direction at the begining and the end of the stack.

Is there something wrong or is it safe to use?

This is normal and had an adjustment that did not make the manual - remove the 3 silver shims for the 950 setting

If it is a shp it is set to 1100 output from us and the only adjustment is to 950

If you want 3k output we recommend you get the gold body x reg which we make at a 3k output here at the factory

I’m sure Ninja will chime in soon enough but to me if your 1.8k keeps popping off, your regulator isn’t doing it’s job properly any more and is most likely a bad reg seat. Get a rebuild kit with a new piston/seat in it and give it a servicing.

Paul77 Hit it on the head, A reg rebuild may be in order.

look at the bottom of the piston, if that ball at the bottom is damaged or flattened out it will be the cause for the 1.8k blowing. A new piston and 1.8k burst disk is included in our rebuild kits.

I've got a Ninja Pro v2, no shims installed. I checked the pressure on it and it seems to creep up to just under 600 psi. Is this an issue requiring a rebuild or a clean/relube?

I only sifted through 10 pages in this thread so sorry if this is a repeat question.

Pretty much the same thing as the last guy just not as extreme, I’m sure Ninja will chime in soon enough. Your regulator isn’t doing it’s job properly any more and is most likely a bad reg seat. Get a rebuild kit with a new piston/seat in it and give it a servicing.

Paul hit it on the head again. An increase in output pressure is generally a sign the seat is starting to wear. A rebuild with a new piston should do the trick for you!
