Just because he says "There is no LV2" just means they don't have an LV2 prototype... that doesn't mean that they are not testing a new solenoid in that LV mule or whatever else they may be updating in it.

Given planets history, these pictures coming out falls pretty well into their habit of amping interest by pictures of taped up guns making their way onto the internet.

Well from the photos looks like a poppet and a spool prototype.
Guessing either new etek or LV. And new etha 2. Cant imagine improvements to cs2 and 170r

I thought that PE was equally worried about the etek solenoids as well? Maybe not?

Maybe if this is an etek then they have ironed out the solenoid issue and will test it in the lower tier platform similar to the etha 2 release.
