Just checking in
Every now and then I like to drop in on my favorite old website. What a walk down memory lane!
Looks like I registered my account 18 years ago. Holy crap! I'll guess that most users who stop by on this thread weren't even born yet...
Any of my old buddies still around?

There's a group of us guys still running around! We play pretty much every weekend at OPC. Probably not much on Pbnation. Facebook is where everyone is pretty much now.

Checking in from the East side. I moved to Idaho in 2012 - originally from Minnesota.
Last touched a paintball 10 years ago. Recently reconnected with an old friend that I played with back in the day - who is getting back into it.
Sure enough I find myself on youtube watching all the paintballruniedmylife videos......and now I just pre-ordered an emek. Not sure what's happened in paintball the past 10 years, but my kids are of age now and I think we can have a lot of fun together.
I have a ton of questions about paintball in the Idaho Falls area - I don't even know where to fill up an HPA tank. I see there's 1 or 2 fields still active?
Bozeman Xtreme seems good - they had a tourney last summer. If I can get the kids interested and geared up cheaply, that looks like a cool thing to participate in - if they do it again this year.

Anyone know of any groups playing in the treasure valley regularly or semi regularly and how to link up with them?

Awesome thanks I’m looking to get back into paintball occasionally used to play on a team that was around a while ago. But looking to probably be more casual I was thinking about that field or pyrrhic field if anyone plays there.

Hey! I'm on the same boat as a few others here... joined PBN in 2004 and havent played since about 2011. Looking to start up again as another weekend activity, is OPC the place everyone goes? Also, no idea what the world of equipment looks like now... All i've noticed is the lack of macro lines (micro maybe? i forgot...)

Yes, OPC is the only place in the Treasure Valley to play airball. If you have a facebook account, look for the "Idaho tournament paintball" group and you'll find where most players are posting/talking these days.
Macroline is mostly gone, but some retro guns and lower end guns still have it.

Couple years late in relation to this thread, but hoping to check out OPC soon myself! Heard it still active and basically the only place in the area to play good speedball.
Gonna be getting myself some gear here soon so I can start playing again. Recently played in my home town and am of course hooked again after about 15 years lol.

Checking In.
Trevor McGuff - Played with Wildcards, Drama and some others back in the 2005 - 2008 days.
Still have some old gear, not many places to play around here.

Ontario Paintball Challenge (in Ontario, Oregon) is where you'll go if you're looking for airball. About 1 hour drive from and to Boise. We have had a pretty reliable group of people/teams almost every weekend the last couple of years now.
If you have Facebook, go join the "Idaho Tournament/Speedball Paintball Forum Boise, Idaho" to see the most current dates for play.
If you don't have Facebook, you should send a text to Nate at Ontario Paintball Challenge @ 208-741-0509 to see when the next day of play/practice will be.
