Seems like an improvement overall with the new Soft Paddles and expansion Ring. Not much different than the 2 though, not sure if I will get one as my TFX 2 is still great!

Only thing major to me is the built in battery, but that also depends on how long of life it has.

The TFX 2 I have will last for a few days of recreational play or a whole Tournament.

Hopefully they upgraded the Battery capacity for the new TFX 3 but I’m not sure. I know they changed the charger to USB-C from Micro USB.

It looks like a solid product, but $249.99 is a lot for a loader.

If you order at CTRL from Bunker Kings with all of the same options you're looking at $289.60 plus shipping and tax currently with a discount. Full retail for all of the parts would be well over $300. Not to say that the CTRL isnt worth it or not but the TFX is certainly cheaper for most of the same features, quality not in the argument.

Battery life= 30k shots. I want to see Joe Barret run the battery dry in one day.

No one really needs anything more highend than an IR2 or LTR, so if you don't care to have the latest and greatest go with those.

So now it’s like an all inclusive spire. Cool for the HK teams forced to use this at least. Not sure all the texturing on the loader is a good idea, I’ve caught bounces on my spire and I can’t see that happening with all the ridges and bumps. Glad to see a company actually putting everything into the loader up front so you’re not nickel and dimed on ramps, speed feeds, and shells. Hopefully this keeps the other companies innovating in this space

I was lucky enough to see some at NXL Philly. Looks like a solid offering especially with the high-cap shell.

Mr. H's enthusiasm is contagious. It's like watching your kid at Christmas open up the one gift they have been waiting for all year.

Been testing a TFX3 for a while now, and I have nothing but positive vibes. I have less issues with feeding than I did with my Spire 3.

The battery lasts 3 days of play for me without issue.

Still rocking a spire IR. Not sure how or why loaders broke the $200 mark, but once mine can't handle 10.5 or starts giving me issues I'll switch. Rechargeable AAs are doing the trick.

I do like the design of this quite a bit other than the expansion being a separate piece.

I’ll wait and see, the last 2 spires have less than impressed me. The one was terrible waste of cash.

Looks like they bought another loader and smacked thier name on it. Hopefully it won't popcorn as much as the VSL it is based on. Looks like the drive cone has had a little molding to smooth that out. Should be unreal better at not jamming paint and the spiral gear should solve the jamming of the mechanism that plagued the 2. Always such a crap shoot with HK though. Somebody come get me when the protoyz speedster gets a nicer Exalt speedfeed. I'll be more excited for that then this.

Looks good. The biggest problem I have seen with their loaders is a lack of parts availability/service once they stop cease production. Those rubber paddles should help improve the paint handling as well.

I think Paintball DNA created a speed feed for the speedster.

PaintballDNA did, it uses what looks like the GXG speedfeed fingers. I made an adapter for the Speedster that fits universal speedfeeds as well, but at a higher profile than the PBDNA one.

However, it might be possible to switch the GXG fingers for actual Exalt ones. IIRC they're 1:1, just the Exalt ones are much higher quality.
