Just played all day with the prime yesterday after the SFR upgrade and the volumizer upgrade

What I noticed.

1. THe sound signature completely changed. It sounded like a pew pew pew sound. like laser sounds in a movie. This is preference.

2. In a game, i shot a hopper (rotor) and 2 pods. The PSI went down from a 3900 to 2900. The efficiency is there with the upgrades.

3. I did notice I got a FSDO when i let the gun sit for a while. Not sure what the reason for this is.

4. I wanted to put the gun to its limits. Ramped it at 17.1 balls per second. I've noticed the following shots were losing velocity after the first. I believe this is a reg problem. I do only have about 10k on the counter. Its not a reg rebuild time.

5. There is noticeably less kick despite the gun having to be turned up a quarter turn to reach velocity from the original settings.

Overall, I would do the upgrade for efficiency sake.

What size SFR seal are you using?

What's your dwell setting?

What's your FSDO dwell addition setting?

Also what size bottle? Any before data to compare to?

Edit: I will post my results as well once I receive the kit and have time to test it out.

I have a 68/4500. It was a hot fill to 4000 (noobs on the field use their 3000 tanks with the 4500)

1. I was using the middle one, forgot the exact size
2. Dwell is 15ms
3. FSDO Time 10secs
4. FSDO Dwell 4ms

OK. Middle is 1.5x13.

Dwell is good and what I'd recommend. I'd bump the FSDO dwell to 10ms, but your time certainly doesn't need to be 10 sec. You can max it out (2 min maybe?) since the *only* time you'll need that additional dwell is when the marker has been sitting gassed up for an extended period of time. Even then, you shouldn't have any first shot cycle issues so I'd replace the sail oring if you haven't in a while.

Otherwise, a cleaning/lubing of the solenoid spool also wouldn't hurt, nor would a fresh battery. Mechanical FSDO really shouldn't be an issue with the Infinity.

In terms of efficiency, that's quite good - rough math indicates you're tracking toward ~1800 shots from a full 68. If you can get more accurate numbers by using the shot counter + tank start/tank finish pressures, along with a larger sample of shots then that would be great.

It could be my battery. You are right. My battery is in the orange.

It was just a rough estimate on the efficiency. I didn't do anything except to try to see if i liked the shot difference. It certainly feels good and better.

Next time i'll put a shot counter on and a better gauge to determine the actual output.

Which one is the sail oring.

Sail = 16x2

Note that a 016 is not a 16x2.

The term "sail" and "switch" are used because that's the seal that the air sear (from the front) and shot chamber (from the rear) act on to physically cycle the bolt back and forth. If it wears to the point that it no longer seals against the can ID, air will leak past it instead of acting against the annular surface area, resulting in a weak or non-existent cycle.
