would love some great recommendations for used tournament markers under 350. returning to the sport, but would love to get a vintage or older marker for some tournament play. I have been looking at lat "00s DM series and WDP's. any suggestions?

If you're considering WDP (and I do love my Angels) I'd recommend you ignore the A1 line. They were really troubled when they came out, with tolerances all over the place and parts working in one marker but not another. For what its worth they are an extremely tight package and are most like modern markers, if you are ready for a multi-week headache that might never end. G7s, A4s are all workhorses and still shoot great. There is an active FB group for Angels that has all the support you'd need. There are modern boards that will give you the tournament settings you might need and move you to the more standard 9V.

You can still get replacement parts for all of the Matrices, pick one you like...

If you can find a DM14 or 15 for $350 and want a Macroless Marker then get it and pick up a spare Eye Pipe.

Is a Vanquish GT still worth buying or should I save up and get a different marker? Thinking about a M3s

Yes, The Vanquish GT is still good.

However, I’d definitely recommend the M3 series markers as that’s what I prefer (obviously lol).

To me the Vanquish has weird ergonomics and a fat body which kinda makes the marker heavy.

The M3 series has a super smooth shot quality, although slightly “poppier”, and is very ergonomically comfortable while also being the most efficient high-end Spool Valve Marker.

I’d recommend holding or shooting both if possible before purchase.

Been out for about a decade, anyone have a recommendation on what would be a fun marker for casual play, some wood some speed, for around the $300-500 range used?

I used to shoot an SP Ion that was decked out, but I never cared much about my markers back then (barrels mostly)

Etha 2 is a pretty solid shooter for your situation.
