2.0 w/ PE grease?

I've had my 2.0 for a few years now, always used monkey poo, started running low on that so tried to start using some Planet eclipse grease but after a couple weekends of playing my Luxe wouldn't even shoot, the bolt wouldn't fully cycle and paint would get stuck halfway through the breech. I had to remove the feathertouch screw in order for the gun to shoot.

I cleaned off the bolt and put monkey poo back on and its back to shooting properly with the feathertouch in. I never knew different lube could make such a difference, has anyone else had a negative experience with eclipse grease and what do yall like to use, since monkey poo is no longer in production I need something else.

I got the luxe used and didn't have the factory lube, pretty dumb question on my part in retrospect of course if different stuff isn't working use whats made for it. Still odd how much of a perceivable difference I could see between monkey poo and Eclipse grease.

MacDev Militia Lube and the newer Dye Slick Advanced (with Blue Label) Lubes are the slickest I’ve used for Paintball lol.

They both work better than regular Dow 33 in my opinion.

Planet Eclipse Grease and GOG/DLX/Smart Parts Gr33se is all Dow 33 or equivalent.

This was my impression! Don't know why I'm having issues with my Luxe all of a sudden

It turns out it was an issue with my orings, BUT it is still interesting that under imperfect conditions a 2.0 seems to shoot better with monkey poo than PE grease. Perhaps a more slick lube works better on a luxe than something like eclipse grease or gr33se
