I thought I saw AC Diesel using GI 170r's (or whatever the GI variant is).

Is that right?

I don't think there's a Gtek 170R with a GI Design yet. The AT Pipes were the biggest giveaway they were using the 160R Stealth. I know a few people used a Syx at one point.

no pro teams "support" companies. The companies support the pro teams with free/heavily discounted gear and/or cash (I wouldn't know anyone's exact deal). The companies are supported by the average joe who pays full price for the products.

Ditto. I still use mine at events and have not had an issue with paint. Stock bolt, stock settings, and 100+ cases through it. I've gone through several solenoids, but I've accepted that as a downside to the low original msrp.

That being said, the only Axe Pro I've owned was an absolute blender (the one with the different body, frame, etc.). I don't know if tolerances were off or if there was a settings issue, but I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Does anyone know if all of Empire's markers come out of the same factory?

Now that's a stretch.... but I definitely should've put money on the books in vegas

Side note yes, pro shar teams were shredding paint as well. Poor infamous and the russians. All the way through the finals even.

Paintball News Rules
  1. No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
  2. Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
  3. If you don't like something, say why instead of just calling it ugly, lame, gay or any other name. If it is old, simply post a link or report the post with a link to the older News thread.
  4. Please don't post links for places to buy items. That encourages stores, sponsored players and other people to do it and spam the site.
If you have questions, please post them in the Talk to Mods/Admins forum.
