This pickup along with a-rod is a year too late. solid grabs, but had this happened last year, Ironmen would've been a serious force to deal with. best of luck though. I firmly believe Nick was a pivotal key in X-Factors success last year. Id like to see him on the starting line and get some real play time.

Yup. The two year contract is stupid. Their pay for plays no to impact once it’s up

If Nick was so pivotal with X-Factor, why did they release him?

It was the beard. Alex Martinez is old school like George Steinbrenner. Alex wanted Nick to shave. Nick said, "If I shave I will no longer look like Oddball from Kelly's heroes". So Alex was forced to let Nick go. Lots of negative vibes man

Congrats Nick! Glad to see you got a Pro spot for the season!

Obviously sad you won't be on an Eclipse team this year, but you know you're always welcome back any time. One of the greatest ambassadors of the sport, and an annoyingly nice person....

Best of luck!

Because he got to the point he was no longer relevant as a player and needed to do something to get the spotlight on himself. He never had a problem with the NXL when it benefitted him. Now he talks like he is the advocate for the player but what has he done? Its not the I agree or disagree with any of his points but nothing is worse than a guy "making a stand" but not actually doing anything whatsoever other than being an utter complaining ***** about it.

He was talking **** about the crappy NXL, moron. I'm positive buddy isn't loosing sleep over ppl's opinions on some trash forum.

So you play a lot of NXL and you can agree about his opinions based on your own personal experience? Most of the stuff he says is just really minor issues expanded into things like they are massive problems. I hate to tell the world the obvious, but major leagues, in massive venues, with premium setups, are never going to be dirt cheap like he *****es about.

I say again, when all this **** benefitted him he never said a word, then when he needed followers and eye on his pot business, he suddenly was the Worlds advocate for paintball players that actually does nothing at all.

The feeling is that I'm not good enough to be a starter. When you fly people in, their expectation is for them to start.

LJ committed back to the team and with the addition of Raney the teams costs went up.

It was also mentioned that me not being a starter took practice time away from others who essentially need it more. Because I'm playing, someone else is sitting.

So I was let go because I was not a starter, cost money to fly in, took practice time away from my teammates, and the costs went up with LJ coming back and Raney as well.

If other players/fans saw me as a pivotal player, I thank you.

I find it interesting that one team did not find it cost effective to fly you in but a team further away thought it was. I know team budgets are different for teams, but it made me think.

Best of luck this season Nick.

They did just lose 2 players, one of which they flew in.

Nick, you sir are more than a pivotal player IMO.
I think you will really show how pivotal of a player you really are this year. I assume that you will be one of the Ironmens starters this year. Your shots off the break are killer, your one on one skillz are second to none. Go show Xfactor what they lost bud, wish you nothing but good luck this year.

Wondering what you will be shooting this year? PE or Dye

Nick should be a starter for them.

He will be shooting a DM3+ it seems. The pics of him practicing he has one.
