A real bummer for AC Dallas, great addition for Xfactor.

Man AC has just been falling apart roster wise for the past year or so. Who else has got juicy news? Where’s the off-season tracker?

Raney on his gosports interview said he heard rumors but nothing solid. Matty said Heat would be someone to keep an eye on to snag a player and see what Arod does.

I dont see why Heat would need another player. They already have a solid roster thats super full.

Matty cited their season overall, was more his thoughts at the moment than anything real I think.

Matty also still claims people were shooting 25+bps back in the NPPL days.

Thats big news. Really hurts ac dallas. They're right on the cusp of a win and this just makes an already monster xfactor team that much better.

I’ve been saying it, and I heard kyle Spicka say the same thing on his YouTube channel, he thinks this pandemic is going to cause a lot of Pros to hang up their cleats. Especially the ones who travel. There’s a lot of stars in the nxl who were in their mid to late 30s who didn’t want to come to World Cup. Notably colt Roberts, Federov, Yosh Rau, Alex Fraige, the Canadians. Maybe one of heats russian players doesn’t plan on coming back, at least to heat. And quite frankly, I don’t see any sort of return to normal until around summer when we’ve hit heard Immunity and the vaccine is widespread for all. Not only has this pandemic screwed up normality, but it’s been a total slap in the face to everyone who doesn’t have some sort of career lined up.

Congratulations to TJ, probably some of the best guys in paintball ! Great place to be. Great team and the guys are one the best groups of players I have met and have been blessed with their generous help for years.

Trevor, I agree, not only in paintball but in many things, lots of Doctors and health care professionals are retiring early, businesses are closing down or changing the way they do business. the pandemic has changed the way things will be done forever.
We may not have the growth of the sport that we enjoyed for the past decade.

I can see it continue to grow. Prices are no where near what they were when I played as a kid (2006-2009) so it's much easier to get into the sport. With that said, paintball will always be a niche sport.

On his episode of PTG the other day, Billy said that Colt will be back next season. Of course it's early so that could change. But it seems like as of now, they're planning on having him.

That is because for a season bounce was ok. The logic was the microswitch still only shot 1 time for each click. People turned their bounce all of the way up.

Waaaay off topic but I have gotten an alias to 22bps with a Z2.

The way it was done, as I understand, was with “gangster” chips that would let the board shoot uncapped ramp after the gun as first powered on.

25 may have been a slight exaggeration, but 20+ was for sure happening in the early days of 7-man.
Also, great pick up for X-factor.

Yeah 20 bps was pretty common, hitting more than that was really tough, and you couldn’t sustain it for more than a few seconds. My sft shocker with the aftermarket board would hit 19 all day long.

Every time I have heard Matty reference this number he is talking about the 2003 NXL season where there was no cap or regulation on guns for the first 3 events.

I think everyone is forgetting about non-factory settings that became very common via aftermarket upgrades (or manufacturer team settings). I thought it was an open secret that players in NPPL had off-the-break modes that were just harder to catch and enforce.

Might be a rough 2021 for AC Dallas. I just saw on facebook they're having an open tryout in January for the pro roster.
