Just picked up an Etha 2 on my 3rd wave of getting back into playing paintball. Overall the gun is really well designed (as an engineer/designer guy), the overall layout is so dialed without an external line, no internal transfer tubes, no eye wires, use of light pipes - I love it. The only compliant I had was the feel of the trigger. Seems like there was no aftermarket support, as I couldn't find an upgraded trigger. So I made some myself, my garage is pretty well setup for making stuff.
Just finished this project this weekend and am really stoked with the improvement on the gun. Really loving the thing now.
I ended up making three versions to try, two wave versions and a blade. Since these triggers are just for me I removed the over travel adjustment screw to make the trigger surface smooth and uninterrupted. I also like the feel of a pull style magnetic trigger, so I removed the spring and added a magnet as well.
Ready to be free'd from it's cage of metal.
