Doing another alpha batch to fix a few issues Ive been dealing with. Mainly being some components being to close to solder. But so far Ive nearly got it all working on my second alpha board. Hopefully this next one will actually be called the beta

Almost have everything in hand to build the next round. Just waiting on one last part from mouser who was apparently closed over labor day and just shipped my stuff...Hopefully by next week sometime I can build another and see if Ive exercised enough gremlins.

My regulators finally came! Probably build on Monday or Tuesday next week as Im gone all weekend for a wedding. Someone mentioned to me a weird e2 fire mode where the marker fires like an open bolt. Is that really a thing? But if anyone has any modes they want please let me know! Theres room for 50 more at least

I have officially made my first beta. As far as I can tell all the hardware is working. Ive got a few little software bugs here or there that Im working on and then Ill start building the other 9.

Mini update: College has been kicking my *** as of late via midterms so progress hasnt been great. I have fixed a small handful of software bugs and have nearly built beta #2. One last bug needs dealt with but its apparently hard to catch in action.

Good news. After trolling the apple app store for viable ble terminals I have finally found one that works!

Not sure how I did it but I broke the ir receiver half of my eyes. The eyes werent working and low and behold the plastic shell on the receiver had shattered. After a few minutes of trolling digikey I found if not the stock part then something very close, same size, shape, and function for sure. So on that note I will be able to make 25 sets of replacement eyes if need be. The trilogy sf I bought recently also had a similar issue so I can make those as well for you guys. Figuring 10ish each depending on shipping.

Thanks man, Im pretty pumped. Hoping to get enough cash together to get a batch of 100 made over seas. Definitely not happening until the new year but I need a little time to get beta feedback any how. Also the new ble module Ive got figured out I wont even need to sell you guys since I dont have to change out the connector now. Amazon sells them for $9. Dsd Tech SH M08 ble module. Just take pliers and bend the right angle pins straight. Should help keep the cost down for you guys.

My second beta board has arrived at its new home! Hoping to start getting some feedback and you might get a youtube video on it at some point as well. Im going to start working on writing up a manual that explains all the connectors and settings. Its quite a lot so it will take some time.

In a trade of services I had recently with a my neighbor, a photographer, I will be getting professional picture work done for my manual. In other news my first beta has had a few issues at its new home but seems to be mostly working as intended. In response to this I have made a few more hardware alterations and am getting a new batch of parts to test out for further versions.

I am afraid by christmas isnt likely, I am currently in the process of getting money together for the production run but I am going to need until the new year for sure as even the cost of a 100 run isnt trival. However I may be selling hand made ones at some point prior.

Quick update* The beta tester and I are addressing a minor issue with the lcd module. When plugging it in it can cause the processor voltage to dip too low and the processor hangs until the battery is removed. Ive added a spot for another larger capacitor to solve this issue. Need to get the new design printed and build one to make sure. Just more little hiccups to work through.
