Need help with an Impulse...

Recently got a beautiful black and red Impulse. Tested it in the back yard with a full hopper and it shot great. First day at the field went to the chrono, fired 3 shots and the micro-line on the manifold blew off. Checked the LPR setting, re-attached the line and it popped off again. Ordered a new line, installed now what sounded like the solenoid was leaking. Being a heavy handed ogre, I disassembled the solenoid and promptly lost the ridiculously thin and small o-ring.. got new solenoid, still leaks. Tonight I installed new manifold o-rings and it still leaks. What should I check next?

If you're blowing hoses the issue is air pressure regulation, or high pressure air is leaking past a sealing point into the low pressure air system. I'm not familiar with the internals but most poppets tend to be similar. There will be a small internal oring that your LPR piston arm rides on. Usually located in the LPR body that's sitting inside the gun body. Take the LPR out of the gun completely. Replace the small inner LPR body oring #10. Replace the outer LPR body orings as well.......there are 4 #15's. These are all orings that separate HIGH pressure air from the LOW pressure system that runs the solenoid. You may as well replace the #13 oring on the piston as well, since you're in there. Lube everything properly with gun grease, then re-assemble the LPR and put it back into the gun. Refer to the manual if you need help.

Next, turn your HPR regulator off and your LPR regulator off. Push your bolt forward manually and leave it forward. Screw your tank on and turn the asa on. Obviously the gun will not cycle or shoot at this point since all the regulators are off. Carefully turn up your HPR as you listen. You'll hear air suddenly rush into the gun. At that point give the screw another full turn and stop there.

Now turn up the LPR slowly until your bolt cycles in to the back position. At this point pull the trigger(eyes off) and fire the gun fairly rapidly. You want to adjust the LPR screw until the bolt cycles fully and the gun fires without a hitch. If you can't...............put the LPR back to zero, turn the HPR up another turn and then repeat the process. The point of this is to get both regulators set at their lowest possible settings but working 100%. Once you feel like the gun is operating properly you should be close to where you need to be. You'll have to make adjustments again once you have paint and a chrony but for now you should be ok.

If any internal hoses blow off at this point it may be because they have worn ends. You can only stretch them on or off the barb a couple times before they need replacement.

If you hear internal leaks, they will most likely be coming from the valve at this point which is common. Balanced valves need lube but nobody ever lubes them since they're a pain to remove. Remove rebuild and relube your entire valve (poppet and valve body) and this should get rid of any leaks.

At this point you should be good to go. You may need to raise or lower the HPR at the chrony to meet velocity. Keep in mind anything you do to ONE regular effects the other. Make small adjustments and if you get to a point where your velocity stops increasing, you've gone to far. Drop back bit then raise the LPR a tad and go back up on the HPR. These guns are about balance.

HPR air controls the speed of the ball BUT....LPR air controls how much of that air is released from the valve. Once you find the balance point you should never have to make any major adjustments, just minor day to day depending on conditions and paint.

MstrKeys post is good, I would add getting a few regulator seats since these have been an issue for some. The reg seat could be worn on the lpr (or both regulators) and that can cause overpressurization of the solenoid.
