Old school paintball websites

Hey folks!

I started playing in the mid-late 1990s, and I have been trying to remember some of the older paintball sites I used to frequent back in the day.

I definitely remember Warpig, but there was another one that had an online flash game that I used to mess around on. I loved reading the game write-ups and articles back in the day.

What are/were some of your favorite old school paintball websites?

Does anyone remember SmackTalk Paintball? I miss the constant trash talking that went on in there.

Ravi's was one of the first paintball pages I remember reading. I literally printed it out at a library because I didn't own a computer yet.

Yeah, for sure! I blame Ravi for every Autococker I ever owned. Good call.

He's still around. He's a member here on PbNation.

I always frequented breview.com. It’s not up anymore, and they didn’t even have a review for an automag. Lolz.

I was on pbcity, but I left when they started charging to be a premium member (I think it was like $10 a year or $25 for a lifetime membership). I jumped onto pbnation before giving up the sport for other hobbies.

Ya I remember playing a flash game and couldn't remember what it was, but someone either re-created it or updated the game I remember at www.2dpaintball.com super addictive

Bought my original setup from 888 Paintball. I settled on paintballgear.com for equipment after that. They just had a nice selection and the layout/pictures/info was great. After I bought my 2k cocker I discovered Ravvi's site was amazing. Warpig is a given necessity.

So there's one website I just haven't been able to recall the name of. I believe the background of the pages was black. They did product reviews, and with every marker review they'd do an "accuracy" test that consisted of measuring the markers grouping on a barrel or box at a certain distance. Somewhat hilariously, this is what got me to buy my first cocker. They did a review of the....Vulcan or Vulkan? Some $10-$20 stupid cheap black and red ABS gun that was a bit humorous. I never did see one of those in the wild.

Anybody know what site this was? I spent a ton of time there.

Warping. PBCity. Impulse Owners Group. I actually played on the first IOG team back in the day. Everyone thought we was something special but we sucked lol. I friend of mine actually bought the website and then we all bought Imps. Got killed at every tournament we went to lol
