Planet Eclipse LV2 inbound? Photos inside

The Sandbaggers were seen out sporting a unique looking LV1.6 recently. It appears to have a faux AT pipe and front grip taped up. In addition, the upper portion of the frame is notably thicker, which could point to internal air passages being added.

Could this be the next iteration of the LV platform? It would mark the first major change to the platform in years.

Ya that trigger guard is definitely thicker and the body milling is different from the 1.6.

The top of the trigger guard seems to slot into the frame/body where the thickness changes. Maybe the air routes through the trigger frame?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this is probably nothing/trolling.

Generally PE ask media folk to avoid taking pictures of pre-production stuff in such detail.

The sandbaggers have had like 3-4 major products leaked from their practices being photographed and video. Fairly certain it is intentional since a lot of PE employees still play with them.

If it is an LV2 hopefully that'll pave the way for a new cyborg or intimidator as well. WE NEED MORE POPPIT CHOICES!!!!

Wonder if they’re only testing the frame for now, and an updated upper body will follow? The upper body looks like the 1.6 and so it still uses the same eye covers. We wants the CS treatment all around. Either way this is fun news.

Sure looks new. There isn't a flare for the AT pipe and the trigger guard isn't as thick as the geo where air is routed that way. Pretty cool.

That has me thinking this may not actually be the "LV2." Maybe it is, I don't know.

If this is indeed legitimate and not a doctored up photo, it passes the eye and logic tests. By that, I mean that the trigger guard and frame-body juncture are most definitely different. The trigger guard implies that air is routed up through it and delivered to the valve chamber and LPR, which makes logistical sense. That also means that the HPR was likely moved to the frame (think CS1/CS2 location), with the batteries likely moving to the foregrip, which looks to have a similar profile to the CS1/Geo 4 grip. The additional width at the frame-body juncture makes perfect sense.

As for wireless connectivity between the frame and body + tooless eye covers, I personally couldn't care less. Obviously eye covers are a more difficult tooless task with stacked tube markers than they are spools due to the spacing and overall location of components. It's anyone's guess if PE is able to cram the necessary hardware to allow for wireless frame removal into the package shown. All in all, *if this is real*, it looks good.

Not sure if FB links are allowed but more pictures are available here:

https://www.facebook.com/OperationSandbaggers/

Exciting news if this truly is an "LV2". Certainly looks like a fake AT pipe as there is no flare for an AT pipe in the bottom front corner of the trigger guard and it appears to be hanging too low for it to be a true AT pipe.

Of course a company in the business of selling new will sell the lv2. So many people actually thought they wont ever release it. Same ahit happened when pe said no more egos. Then suddenly we get the lv

Historically Eclipse has always retrofit the RD parts to existing line components.

I want an LV2 like everyone else, but secretly I hope this is an Etek 6. All metal, hose/pipeless ego for $7-800 would be awesome!

If what you’re saying is we’re seeing an add on to the existing 1.6, and or it’s a 1.7 that touts a ATP’ less design, but pretty much everything remains, then okay. I think just those changes alone would get me to buy one.

Damn everytime this guy from Baggers holds up a taped up PE gun, something comes out right after. Very exciting. If true, thank you Jack!
