It was called digital paintball. Once upon a time they had an actual team that competed too. Heard they were working on migrating it to source, DPB 2.0, but it wasnt well maintained an didnt gain popularity before the developers abandoned it. Excellent game though!

lol Digital Paintball was hiliarious, there was a point when it was on the HL engine, if you clicked 2 buttons you had full auto on all the markers, when you got hit out too the player model was just too funny, like a cops FREEZE! model.

Back to the topic, interesting piece of software, if you guys really want to make us happy, take this, and integrate it with a fps paintball game that isn't buggy or crappy and you can have my 75 bucks

I remember a guy I used to play with said he felt like Greg Hastings Paintball helped his field awareness, no idea if that is possible but i do wonder if some of this could be used as an instructional/coaching tool for beginners.

This is basically the concept we built the game for! Speedball and lane theory can be applied, snap shooting, along with Sightlines to understand angles / blind shots, etc.

Playing against humans is where the game really comes alive. With proper strategy and a little teamwork, each round & match can get intense with players locking down lanes, pinching angles, and playing tight.
