Board flashing to tourny legal (nxl)?
I have a ripper 2 with an older board. I just picked it up and got back into the sport and didn't know until someone at my local field called me on it. He told me to search PBN but the search function won't carry it through.

Does anyone know of a board flashing service?

I believe it to be an older generic frenzy. I turn it on and it says 127.4

Also, are you 187pb, the one who sells the membrane pads? Same guy told me to call look to you for it.

Question. Do you do this all at a one stop shop?

I'm looking to send this baby in and have someone do a once over on it. Go through it, in and out, clean it, tune it and everything. I loaded a hopper and halfway through the poppet(??) blew. Air is coming through the front of the gun near the barrel. I just want to pay someone to do this for me (flash, tune, everything).

You'd have to contact F1 about the board flash, I don't know if anyone messed with frenzy updates besides BLAST back when these guns were new.

I do run 187pb and sell the parts including the membrane but I don't offer a tech service nor could I flash the board.

Last I heard there is no way to have an old Frenzy updated. I'd love for that info to be incorrect though.

Older boards cannot be flashed, per Yosh at F1. An Infamous board can still be flashed by Tadao to be 10bps tournament legal. (I don’t recall if the ripper 2 is a 2k5 gun that can use an infamous board...)


I think a sci-fi board will be around the same cost, all told , tho.

Tadao has officially stopped flashing boards
Dirtyworks was flashing boards for a while, and has stopped as well...

You'll need to get a sci-fi board to be 100% tournament legal, if you just want to shoot 10bps look for a used tadao or 1.5/1.7 frenzy board
