Random 2012 Vapor questions

Today my 2012 V1 Vapor came in the mail and I've been tearing it down. I'm running into a couple of things.

1) The magnets for the left eye cover seem to have exploded. The latch is not smooth at all and there's magnetic powder everywhere. Does anybody know what size these magnets are or have any suggestions for an alternative solution that's not drilling and tapping for screws?

2) I've heard the frame does not need to come off to remove the trigger, but my attempts have all failed. Even with the pre-travel screw brought all the way in it just seems like it's barely too big to slide out the front, and I have the board in the way in the rear. Does the board need to come out as well? pre travel screw wasn't out far enough, fixed it

3) Has anybody bought the updated OLED board from machine? The stock one in this gun appears to be completely dead and while I'd like an OLED, if they're not a great board I'd settle for the LED board.

4) I've read about a mosfet being used in the V3s between the solenoid and the board. Since V3 specific parts are hard to find, does anyone know which spec mosfet was used and anything else that might have been part of it?

5) For anyone that's put the newer grips on the 2012, does it improve the feel of the marker at all or not really?

3. finding a virtue ego board will be almost impossible these days. Your only real option is the new machine Board.

4. Can’t help you there

5. All the machine grips feel a little wonky if you ask me

I only asked about the board since there's an LED alternative from Machine for $100 less, but I'm not sure if the updated OLED is any good or not.

Thanks for the info on the grips! If it still feels a bit wonky I won't bother.

Ohh the led ape board... if you are use to virtue or tadao or any other led board programming, the ape programming will drive you bat**** crazy.

It’s nothing like anything I’ve ever seen. It’s just makes no logical sense.

I’d lean to the new oled just to avoid the ape.
