Mounting a GoPro on a mask

I have Empire Events and was wondering what is the best way to mount a GoPro? On the side or on top? Thanks!

Side. On top all you're going to see is your hopper in the vid.

I used epoxy and glued the mount to the E vent side piece that holds the lenses on. It doesn't budge.

I tried using the stock go pro sticky mounts to the side of my mask and the weight of the camera cause it to fall off after a couple matches.

I have the complete opposite. On the side, all I saw was hopper, on top, I see much more of my footage.

Side mounted:

Top mounted:

For side mount I have a dye i5, so it has a side mount... However, my friend side mounts and he uses a clip mount so it clips right next to the mask straps.

For top mount I am just using a handlebar mount through the vents.
