Rat Impulse Questions

Hey guys,

Just getting into Impulses and grabbed this Rat. Can someone give me a little more information on it..

What is the fitting on the back of the marker (Next to the hammer assembly), I've never seen one before. There are some aftermarket parts on here I just need help identifying as I've never seen them before.

Thank you,

On the back is a pressure release valve. If you put too much/ too high pressure to it that will vent instead of blowing the noid. It has an evil respirator low pressure regulator which isn't great.

Awesome thank you for your help!

I have a couple LPR's that I can always switch out if necessary.

I got it all fired up and shooting ropes again. Slight leak still but just waiting for my ORings to come in.

the evil parts were meant for higher pressure iirc. the respirator might work ok. most people dont run evil parts though.
if you scroll down it talks about it in the "expert only" note

whoever set up yours ran it with the PRV so who knows whats going on in there! It's been a long time since i had a setup with a respirator. like i said it might work fine for you.

I haven't messed with it or anything yet as I have a few little leaks still while I wait for my oring kit. Just shot it briefly to make sure it worked.

I'll post a video once I have the leaks figured out and get the gun set up.

You are correct on the evil parts running a higher pressure. My input is on mine is just shy of 300 with the respirator knocking it back to 140ish. The valve required a higher input pressure

Op, what guts are in the rat? Respirator was made to work with their valve and ram combo. May be worth tearing it down to see whats inside.
