I have Enoch boards installed in both my Force 4 and Dark LCD currently, although I still have the stock and Force FBS boards on hand. For me, the Enoch board is essentially the feature wishlist I've had since I first started toying with the idea of replacing my stock board 15 years ago. It does indeed run off a 9 volt battery, eliminating the stock rechargeable, and you get to retain a very nice high-contrast display screen, which for me was important. The software is user-upgradeable, and you can micro-adjust pretty much every parameter. It does cost a bit more than some of the more basic LED-only boards, but I think the price is incredibly reasonable for the feature set. "Worth it" sort of comes down to your price sensitivity and the value of your gun. I bought my Force 4 and Dark LCD brand new at full retail price, and they still hold quite a bit of sentimental value to me, so it was well worth it to me. On the other hand, it's quite possible to pick up a functional used Angel for only about twice the price of the Enoch board, and in that case maybe you would want to consider the value of the upgrade more carefully. Stated another way, I might not spring for the Enoch in a cheap beater, but for a collectible model, or a gun with a lot of sentimental value that I planned on keeping and babying, I'd go for it unhesitatingly.
