Will a Dye Angel LCD 45 Frame fit an 05 Speed?

I have an 05 speed with the 90* frame and I want to go 45* and I was wondering if these two angels were interchangeable? Such as this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dye-Angel-L...QAAOSwfpBaZS1V

I don't believe they will. They did make 45 degree frames for the speed. It will be a chore finding one though. Send East Coast Angel a message on facebook. They may have something.

The mounting holes will line up, but you couldn't use the 05 Speed board inside that frame. With modification, you could mount an IR3-A4 Fly board in the frame and use it, or use an aftermarket board like the Enoch. Bear in mind that the trigger geometry is completely different, so the vernier trigger wheels will be non-functional and you will have little if any practical trigger pull adjustments unless you replace the vernier wheels with flat discs.

Alright i have the same question but instead of a 05 speed will the dye 40 frame fit onto a 03/04 speed?

Yes, the hole spacing is the same. Same caveats about board geometry though - the Dye frame requires some modification to fit an IR3-A4 Fly board.

If it's a new Predator board with the break-away tabs intact then you can install it in the Dye frame without modification. If it has had the LCD tab removed you would still need to drill and tap a hole in the grip frame for the top board screw, and possibly shave down the upper cross-member.

Might not help you - but related. I put a Dye 45 with LCD board on an IR3 Fly. Only had to remove the vibrator.

Honestly it might be worth tracking down a 45 frame for an 05 speed. It's honestly super underrated and one of my favorite frames. It feels perfect, and I don't regret picking it up over the standard 90 frame...

If you can the whole marker for cheap it could be worth picking up....with the spare parts that gun will never break
