Have you tried a new fresh battery?
Virtue board in my one NXT drains batteries like no tomorrow.

Since the marker did shoot, gonna assume the dwell etc are fine.
Clean and grease bolt, regulator if not done recently.

Usually its one of the following when your shocker only gives you those puff noises.

-fresh battery, solenoid cant open correctly when there is not enough power
-re-lube bolt and check o-rings
-when you maintained and took apart your solenoid, make sure you reassembled the endcap in the right way.
-reset board to factory settings (those may not be as efficient/ fitting for your specific gun but should always work)
-try different tank, ASA and inline reg
-check http://www.zdspb.com/tech/mguide/sho...neumatics.html to see if you encounter any of the described issues.

go step by step

If nothing else works, try replacing the rear can o-rings (outer and inner), they can cause pneumatic lockout if they leak.

Hope you got it figured out...

I just had this issue at my field last weekend with my SFT. Air was not reaching the bolt/not cycling... but I could hear the small puff of air in the grip (as if the solenoid spool was cycling... but not enough to shoot paint). I relubed everything at the field (except the reg since i was getting proper pressure at the reg gauge and had recently lubed it within the past 4 week).

At home, I removed the spool from the SFT solenoid... it looked ok but POSSIBLY the end o-ring looked a little warn? I decided to remove the spool from my 04 Impulse and put it into my Shocker SFT solenoid. This solved the problem!

Again, I compared the spools side by side... I couldn't see any significant difference in o-ring 'health' between the 2 spools, but for some reason the Impulse spool allowed the gun to cycle
