The Geo4 uses a mixture of CS1 and CS2 parts with the IV Core drivetrain and the same basic grip and foregrip angles and geometry of the Geo3.5 to give them exactly that.

been playing for over 20 years I liked the feel of the previous geo over the cs line I own a geo 2.0 wanted to get a lv1 as well. so thank you for looking out for us old guys that like the feel of the older guns. now I got to get a lv1 always wanted one. is this a limited run or you will keep building if people keep buying? miss out last time don't want to get caught up again..

No, the Geo 4 uses wired eyes to the breach, just like in the CS1

If you enjoyed how the Geo 3.5 shot over the CS2, I think you will love the Geo4.

No, The Geo 4 has a gen 3 CS1 grip frame to body connection at the front of the grip frame. It dos have the pin, so the robustness is there.

Is the overall length of the gun the same as the CS platform or Geo 3.5? (I.e the space between the front grip and grip frame)

Ergos of the CS2 and swooshy butter of the IV? that should sell it for you enough. The IV core breaks in the gamma does not
The swooshy sound does not mean the IV core has less "kick" or is quieter. The sound signature of the Cs2 is so different people assume its "louder" and "kicky". The short valve time (aka no swooshy) is the sound of a more efficient shot.

The Geo IV is priced the way it is because its a great gun, but not the best that Planet has to offer. People want it, so they delivered. I dont think it will take over.

Raven, this is why you trust logic and the senses (eyes) over an early spec sheet from ANS Gear. This is why I had all the confidence when we were making our "bet."

What I mean - it's very clear the IV Core is identical to the previous version used in the CS1. Why change anything? And it's obvious/logical that they would move to a tapered body with the CS1 and CS2 and not move away from that for a Geo 4. Moving away from them is unnecessary and illogical. Therefore, the volume and resultant OP is identical.

So, how much was it?

I don’t see why a company can’t have more than one “Flagship” Marker?

Just my thoughts...

Keep up the great work Jack Wood!
The CS line will continue to be the flagship line that's not necessarily tied to one bolt system. So, it's possible that the CS3 will have a brand new bolt system that we haven't seen before.

The Geo 4 and LV1.6 are part of the "legacy series" of markers, so they're tied to historical markers. Obviously, the IV Core is an optimized dump valve, a great system all around, and was the system in one of their best markers ever, the Geo 3.5. They took current tech/ergos from the CS1/2 and used them to create a "modern 3.5" in the Geo 4. It's its own thing, it's a "high end" marker, and it will roll right along the CS2.

Choices are great. Rejoice.

This is what surprises me with all these releases. People wanted a mech CS2 frame, PE delivered. People kept talking about how much they missed the IV core'd markers... PE delivered. Even though no one else seems keen on making stacked tube poppets, PE delivered.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion, If I ruled the world I would have told everyone to be happy with the Gamma cores and moved on... I guess this is why I don't own a business =P

Read previous post as Jack said it was his company’s typo, not ANS gear. How would Anyone have ever known that?? I read those specs and simply stated them.

STRAIGHT UP STEAL for 1200.
The culmination of the best tech from the CS platform and the Previous Geos.
Plus the "NO LV2 FALLOUT" followed up by a brand new gun that hardly anyone was expecting. I'm pleasantly surprised and this will probably be my next gun.

Sidebar: I'm not terribly mad either, I'm curious about this serviceable noid on the LV1.6. I love the LV, but since the CS2 came out, i've been loving closed bolt.

YO 1200 QUID THOUGH Are you effin kidding me?

Also needs shout out that it kept the CS1 trigger system over the CS2 design that i think looks and feels worse than the older CS1/160r system

I didn't know. I used logic to make what I felt was a very safe assumption, all the while believing that the spec sheet was incorrect (unsurprisingly, partly due to the way it is worded).

Afterall, a bet was on the line.

So many pew's, so happy to see, an Amethyst Geo 4 is on pre order for me.

I rhymed.

Very happy to see this evolution of the Geo line and the LV come out. Please people put your money where your mouth is and buy the LV's. I see the LV1.6 as PE testing the water again, if the sales are there then this will help fund future engineering and innovations in that line of markers.

I looked on ANSgear, it didnt say if the solenoid is serviceable/rebuildable and if its backward compatible with the 3.5?
Will they have color scheme just like the 3.5? I assumed it isnt.

Hoping they would make a solenoid for 3.5s that are completely serviceable.

As previously mentioned, it uses a CS1 solenoid because mechanically, the marker is a CS1.

I dont keep up with PE CS1, so i dont know what that means. It didnt mention on ANSgear that it uses the same solenoid as the CS1 either or on the front page where initial. Really, this was a question on that needs to be answered yes or no, but you act like my wife that answer the question that didnt answer as a yes or no. I dont read every single post either, unlike you.
Thanks to you, i decided not to buy this gun

The solenoid is not backwards compatible with the 3.5 but it is fully serviceable.

As for color schemes, I would think anything is possible. I would love to see a HDE Earth one myself.
