That being said, we have picked it up some. And we are taking QC back into our own hands. In a lot of ways.

BUT: The thread is supposed to be about making other guns mech now. What is the preferred mech 3-way switch for guns? And, we can make the Mac33/44 into a simple pneumatic controlled circuit fairly easy for running some of these guns. Would that be something people would want?
3way the way engineers say 3 way or 3way the way everyone else says 3 way?

The one they use for pneumags or the one TFG did for their mech ion conversion.

The way we do because we still use the cocker switch as a reference. Technically a 5-way. Like you need for a ram. Or Timmy/Shocker/Angel/Ego

The TFG Ion worked by venting the supply to the center spool, causing it to move back, so a technically 3-way? Might have to revisit the animation.

Yeah that's what I was getting at, if I'd recommend a 3 way, it would be shocktechs or Simon's, provided they intend to continue production.

So, what we really need is a pneumatic block that a cocker 3-way can screw into, and we can switch that. That way we can go from trigger input to pneumatic block, and maybe put the feedback bleed into that block. Then you can just pick your 3-way.

That would be counter intuitive I believe, as a choose your own 3-way route would take a bit more tinkering and modification to make everything fit properly. You definitely need to go the route of a pre-built block with the switch and the feedback loop integrated in.

Paintball News Rules
  1. No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
  2. Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
  3. If you don't like something, say why instead of just calling it ugly, lame, gay or any other name. If it is old, simply post a link or report the post with a link to the older News thread.
  4. Please don't post links for places to buy items. That encourages stores, sponsored players and other people to do it and spam the site.
If you have questions, please post them in the Talk to Mods/Admins forum.
