Definitely. Absolutely never did I see or hear of players having trouble with the iv core. Only problems I ever saw on geo 3, 3.1, 3.5 was solenoid problems. And that is fixed here. So to me the ivcore is superior to the gamma core.

Any chance they are going to make colored grip kits? Would be awesome to have matching grips on my cs1 with the smaller grip on back.

Absolutely not! CS2 is still our flagship marker!
Thanks Jack!

We're not talking advantages/disadvantages. We're talking *differences* to suit subjective preferences. One is not better or worse than the other, just different.

Do you know the differences between a CS1 and CS2? You need to in order to understand this marker. It's a CS1 (IV Core, solenoid and solenoid location, foregrip) with a CS2-style body (reduced rear overhang) and grip angle . A "CS1 in CS2 clothing" to put it simply.

I never knew what hte fuss is about the gamma core. Its the same as people saying the Prime infinity is worse than the clone GTI. The only difference i feel about the two guns is that the prime infinity kicks back and sometimes the gun hits your face mask because you play tight.

I agree. The FDE with black accents clashes with the FDE with gray accents on the front grip.

I think it’s kinda funny that when they were originally announcing the CS1 and Jack did the Q&A I asked why it looked like trash and he replied that the “Ferrari” or “Lambo” designer made it and now here we are with a CS1 in a CS2 body.

See previously where I said "it's a CS1 in CS2 clothing"?

See how it has a CS1 foregrip? There are two AA batteries in there, just like the CS1.

I may have missed it, but is the solenoid user serviceable like the new LV?

I was basing it on the CS2 having AA and the 170 being 9v. The PE website does confirm AA though

Yes, the solenoid is user serviceable just as in the CS1 and CS2.

DUDE! I'm just getting back into it and bought a CS1.5 three weeks ago after selling off my Geo 3.5 and CCM 6.5 4 years ago. Now I have to sell the CS and get the 4.

Any date on preorder?

To each their own, I’m not a fan of the odd little slash cuts in the front and on the bolt cap. Just which they could do away with the eye covers. It would look so much cleaner.

So it's a over glorified CS1 with different core. Wow, so not worth it.
And why bring the GEO back, I thought the CS was the new GEO?

How do you define "glorified"?

Seeing as they're already flying off the shelves, that seems like a pretty ignorant statement.

This has already been explained.

The CS is its own "line."

The Geo is name and IV Core are back.

The milling is beautiful but my mind is boggled how this is just a CS1.6 but people are losing their mind.

  1. No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
  2. Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
