Jags and Raiders had a better record than the browns last season

Schefter says Washington is one of the teams interested in Norman. How awesome would it be to see him play OBGay twice a year?

Seems more and more certain we're taking Goff. I'm actually good with it. The top 3 guys in passing yards last year - Brees, Rivers, and Brady aren't guys who look like your prototypical big rocket arm athletic guy everyone wants. It's guys who can dissect a defense, make reads, move in the pocket, and throw accurately under pressure. Watching more of Goff he reminds me a lot of River and Brees. Moving around the pocket to buy time while going through read, hanging in there til the last possible moment and making a perfect throw as he's about to get drilled. Assassin in the short and intermediate game with ball placement and quick release. When I watch Wentz highlights it's a lot of pretty throws but he's almost always standing in an immaculate pocket.

A few Goff stats:

He didn't throw an interception in the redzone his entire Cal career.

With a god awful offensive line he only took 6 (freshman), 1 (soph) and 3 (junior) sacks in the redzone during his career.

And while everyone talks about Goff doesn't have a great arm:

"Goff’s deep ball is among the best in football. If we look at just passes that travel 20+ yards in the air, Goff has completed 19 of 26 passes this season, and two of the incompletions were dropped. That’s an accuracy percentage of 80.8 on some of the most difficult passes in the game. That isn’t just the best mark in the nation — only eight other quarterbacks in the FBS can come within 20 percent of that figure." - Pro Football Focus

Trent Richardson to the Ravens. 1 year, 675k. None guaranteed.

It'd be hilarious. Especially since the skins will probably overpay the **** outta him.

Eagles fans have no leg to stand on when it comes to overpaying.

Anyway, Norman got a "strong offer" from the skins. Probably just his agent trying to use the Redskins as leverage for a larger deal elsewhere.

There's no doubt that losing Norman hurts us but honestly we retained the vast majority of a team that just made an owl appearance and we have 30m in cap space. I'm not gonna lose sleep over it. From what I've read it sounds like his agent played hardball and wouldn't wiggle on their demands at all so Gettleman wasn't going to take it. Norman kept his agent but brought on another one to take over negotiations lool.
