Nostalgic paintballs

I'm trying to remember some old paintballs from around 1999. They were high end and used by nearly everyone in the SoCal area. The shell was a solid soft yellowish green and had a 2 letter logo printed on them.

Bonus for pictures of paintballs that are out of production.

I miss Premium, the black and metallic blue shell w/ dark blue fill.

JT made good paint for a short time too around 2002/2003.

Ya I remember the Cal Mags. Didn't they come in small little boxes, like a 100 rounds or something. Too funny.

It was 200 round boxes. I loved the California Magnum paintballs.

-200 round camouflage cardboard boxes. Shrink-wrapped on the outside, and once you opened the box, there was a green plastic bag folded up on the bottom of the box, along with a twist-tie, so you could store any leftover paint.

First time I ever saw a paintball in person was at an "army surplus" type of place- they had that Cal Mag case as shown, on display full of loose paintballs.

The guy had opened the boxes and dumped them into the open case, where you were supposed to grab them by the handful, like nails at a hardware store.

Said open tub was there pretty much all summer.

Doc.

El Tigre such trashhhh...

How about the smurf toenails - Blue Streak! I swear the shells were made from plastic.

El Tigre was the easiest paint to track from barrel to target in the woods thanks to its color scheme. The stuff I used was okay, but I really miss the pink/blue shell Marballizer.

I've honestly only been in the game for ~10 years, but I'm pretty sure the new comers to the sport won't know what Visible Impact is.

hell I find myself just missing two-tone shells in general. What's with all the single color shell paint these days??

JT paintballs , the bright yellow with the logo on it .
Bright neon green Evil paint when it first came out , very similar to the JT paintballs.

Hellfire and Inferno and Blaze. anything Diablo.
Especially Hellfire , felt like I was at advantage shooting it .

Proball/Bigball was popular in northern california around 1999, not sure if it had the same popularity in socal.
