Clues owns a Planet Eclipse Ego
2020 Tournament legal Angel Boards

After being away forever I'm looking to play the beginner league at Captial Edge next year. They run standard NXL ruleset (10.5 bps w/ ramp).

I've got a G7 with the original board. I think my only option with that board is semi @ 10 bps. What are people's opinions on the Predator boards, Enoch and whatever Virtue boards might be floating around when it comes to tournament legality and the ability to match the spec?
I'm considering an A1 for a slightly more modern feel, the A1 manual seems to show that you could set up the marker for the NXL rules with the base board, anyone have any experience with that?

Having an Enoch board, I know you can set it up for ramping with 10 bps.i Need to check the settings

Enoch would be my preference. You can set custom firing modes to just about any specification you could possibly need. And if you need something the board doesn't have, the developer (our very own trancer23, a long-time Angel community guy) is an email away and frequently responds to feature requests as long as they're feasible. Since the Enoch is firmware upgradeable at home, when updates get pushed it's easy to flash them yourself. With all of the other aftermarket options available, updates are infrequent if they happen at all and require a trip back to the factory.

I have an Angel Force G7 Tadao board in my GAT. Seems possibly legal based on verbiage and how the mode plays out. Anyone know for sure?

Section 2 - NXL Firing mode

Quote:
Markers may enter ramping on the fourth trigger pull following three
semi-automatic trigger pulls, as long as the time between each trigger pull does not exceed 200 milliseconds (5 trigger pulls per second).
So just make sure your board enters ramping after the fourth trigger pull, and that your ROF doesn't exceed 10.5. Some older boards don't have the fine ROF adjustment so worst case set it to 10. I think some of the older boards out there with NXL mode didn't have the 200ms setting, so the workaround is to use millennium mode (if your board has it) since I think that reflects the settings that NXL adopted

I thought I had a good setup on my Force board then after trying it out in the field it probably would get flagged for an improper start/stop to ramping. I will do some more configurations and report back but I am probably just going to get an Enoch or PPE and be done with it.

Anyone know the resale value of a Force board from a GAT?
