I’m a fan! ... not a fan of how much I’ll spend on shrouds for this.

Its a cool add on and design.
I just cannot agree on how much it is though. I don't care how great Inception is. This is ridiculous for a add on.

Machining time is probably close to an hour, plus materials, tooling, anodization, and then you've got dealer markups. Making these things is expensive, and the margins are pretty thin. That's not even including R&D/engineering costs. I think it's cool that you still have guys like Simon making unique products to make the game more fun.

Yes and no.
Yes its great we have certain people still making cool add-ons. No, this add on doesn't make the game more fun.

Never played magfed and probably never will.

But allowing the use of AR shrouds and stocks on a gamma core based magfed gun. That actually does sound more fun.

Your opinion. My opinion is that being able to tinker and build a custom paintball gun is half the fun.

Its non existent now a days short of adding a trigger or a custom barrel on any of the top high-end speedball guns.. you used to be able to have custom frames, bodies, etc.. I think this is great and will probably build one just because.

Paintball News Rules
  1. No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
  2. Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
  3. If you don't like something, say why instead of just calling it ugly, lame, gay or any other name. If it is old, simply post a link or report the post with a link to the older News thread.
  4. Please don't post links for places to buy items. That encourages stores, sponsored players and other people to do it and spam the site.
If you have questions, please post them in the Talk to Mods/Admins forum.
