I think you have to look at where the gun falls in the market. Its a mid range marker and you're not going to get all the bells and whistles of the Luxe. Same goes for the 170 and CS2. The 170 shoot great but doesn't have the best bolt, barrel kit, or screen.

I'm sure it could be tool-less, but then you're competing against yourself.

Most likely unless someone (another company) buys the IP and does something with it.

The squish was discontinued already.

See I feel different on that. The tool-less solenoid is all for nothing if I still need tools to get the frame off. Not saying it is hard to do but If they would have been able to make the frame tool-less this would arguably be the best gun on the market. To be able to switch my marker at the field in less than a minute with zero tools would have been perfect. It is still a great update though, just wish they would have found a way to make the frame hinge on a tool-less release at the rear.
I'll be very happy to buy one of those dye ball blockers with Allen key holders just to have it on hand next to the gun.

Lmao.

ďSP sues Planet Eclipse on the grounds that the Gamma Core sYstEm closely resembles their Amp engineĒ

Word. It's 2020 and we're still using screw-on eye covers, grip-frames, etc. like I'm gonna ride to the field in a covered wagon

I hear those Archimedes screws can secure quite a bit of force in one place....

So i am on the brim of getting the new Shocker AMP or a Luxe as our team is sort of sponsored by them.

The luxe will cost me 300 bucks more. I can afford both but 300 bucks is 300 bucks. I like the outlook of the Shocker more then the Luxe, its a bit more compact and i love my old 2006 Shocker NXT that i still kept till this day.

The Shocker however feels like a outdated 170R in most regards but its marketed at the same price. If we could use PE guns i would be shooting a 170R for a long time now to be honest. as i just stepped off my Etha2 to afford a new team gun.

This shocker will shoot as good as any PE or Luxe in terms of the bolt performance i am sure of it.

Bingo. The new AMP is a ripoff of the 170R in a Shocker body with less features. Unless there are sponsorship considerations like in your case or someone just really likes the feel of the shocker in the hands I can’t see purchasing one over a 170R.

The same can be said for the CS2/Luxe X argument for the most part although there is at least an argument for the tooless frame removal or talking board.

Funny how all the Planet Eclipse fan girls here will continuesly ***** about another companies products. The petty excuse that a company using anothers design is wrong, they most likely pay royalties because we all know that taking designs is illegal. Do you think PE just took the mags from Dye, no, they are paying a royalty for it.
PE is a great company but is overhyped by lazy players that don't want to maintain their markers and just show off how light or fast it is. I'd rather support SP, DYE, DXL, Empire, Azodin, MacDev then PE.

No PE did not just steal the design for a Dye mag compatible gun. It was a collaboration. (Look it up). Meaning PE did it the right way. They didn't steal it like a thief in the night.

This move will only make things more expensive. The next time PE designs something great they will have to patent it. Which is very expensive. Who do you think is going to pay for that?

How can you overhype reliability? I don't think you can.

Not quite my friend. Eclipse made an upgrade for the Dye mags and like previously stated it was collaborative. People are free to support whatever company they want, but to try to rationalize/justify what is a clear ripoff of a unique design is a bit silly. If people are just just donít care about the situation and just like the Amp more, that bums me out but thatís their prerogative.

Last thing Iíll say is that PE fans are comprised of both lazy players and ultra tech savvy players who take care of their gear alike. For the lazier/less tech savvy they make guns that continue to work reliably and are easy to work on. For the more tech savvy, you can really appreciate the design intelligence and their ability to continue to improve the experience for the average player. I am not a PE only kind of guy or anything but it it is hard to find that level of attention-to-detail from other companies.

The difference could not be more stark. Collaboration vs. out right theft of IP. SP and DLX took the easy way out and blatantly copied the Gamma Core. While it is a poor copy, they stole IP from PE. Support whomever you prefer ... the Company that steals IP, the company who creates it, or both. Just do it in an informed manner.

As someone who owns and shoots everything, your take couldn't be weaker. Go home, strap your brain on and read what you posted. Either you're an idiot or are heavily misinformed.
