Taking core samples with my core barrel. /rimshot

Went for a slide down a hill. Knee dug in and I flipped forward. Stabbed the ground and then I landed on the back of the tank. Got some sweet road rash on my neck. Took the tip off and continued to play until I got shot out.

Remnants of face on back of tank.

Road rash.

Which of course someone shoots me in a few games later.

Dudes. You all need to go buy a DSR. It's everything you need and nothing you don't. Had zero issues and no broken paint. Shoots. So. Good.

....but I do really hate the feedneck collar.

I stopped shaving after finals week. I'd fit right in at a trailer park.

The best you can do right now until I can snag a m3 collar is grab one from a m2. I didn't design the m2 or DSR feedneck and my personal preference is that I don't like either.

Glad you're (mostly) ok Todd. That could've ended up really badly. There were a couple core samples like that at NXL Dallas.

On another note... Madman, post up a pic of the new bolt in the e2.

Irony are there plans for the proto line in the future? A macroless rize with an option to upgrade to OLED would be tits.

It’s livable until the M3 spares start to become available.

But, hey...it didn’t fold up like the older egos did.

The proto line is being phased out. No real reason in today's market to get and carry 2 brands. There are projects all over the price range, though.

I get the idea behind proto, but it is kinda dumb imho.

DYE should really try to mirror PE more in terms of how they present their lineup.

Nobody will hate dye or think of them less if they find a way to make a lower-midrange marker.

I think that would actually be a pretty great feat if they can pull off a gas-thru $400 +/-$50 marker.

Actually, would be incredibly badass if they managed to do an essentially seriously simplified mech DSR with no rubber foregrip/simpler foregrip milling, simpler trigger guard milling, simple .688 12" 1 piece barrel, a simple yet sturdy non on/off ASA, etc.

Or if it had to be electronic, the only modes it had when on was Semi (LED, not OLED or w.e.), but the DSR board was available to throw in there for like an extra $99-125.

Then go ahead and keep it down to 1, maybe 2 allen sizes at most so you only need to include 2 or so allen keys and a little schmutz of lube and that's it.

Like really focus on quality minimalist.

Only offer it in like 5 colors or less (matte black, maroon, some kind of navy/ocean blue, a foresty green, and maaaybe a dyecam for an extra $50)

Then you can offer the DSR ASA for another $50 or so, and when the DSR feedneck improves, then that for another $30-40 or so.
