I thought they were doing a sequel to Prometheus?

Ridley Scott is, but this will be a seperate film. Im not sure how it'll fit into the current Alien mythos, which is a disaster.

The whole franchise has been beaten and abused since Aliens, they just keep finding ways to **** it up

There were a myriad of things wrong with that movie. I'm really not looking forward to a sequel.

^ what he said, although i would like to see the sequel in hope that they corrected the issues I had with the story. There's a lot of potential.
