I think y’all Americans are in for a wake up call about lockdowns and trying to quell the pandemic.
The maximum allowable amount of people playing “sports” here is 8. 4 people can have supper together. So no pb here for a while.

That will depend what state you are in. Lockdowns are the decision of the state Governor not the Feds. There is a reason rich people like Joe Rogan and Elon Musk are leaving California and heading to Texas. There is a reason many Florida cities are currently experiencing record growth. It is because of Governor's like Coumo (New York)and Whitmer (Michigan). Oh yeah also because it is going to be 65 and sunny today in Daytona Beach. Woo Hoo

High of 70 in Tampa today.
Around here masks are worn if you want to, if you dont no one says anything.
No idiots insisting you wear one.

Thank god for our 2nd amendment. I read a story about some biker bar having about 10 or so people pull out guns on cops who were trying to shut the bar down, the cops left.

This is exactly what our forefathers intended for it to be used for. God bless.

All these comments remind me of children bragging about how they got out of having to take a bath.
Schedule looks fine. Sacramento is a new one. Hope Dave Bains can get his field to be a regular host. He already puts a ton of work in for local tournaments.

Dave does seem to have a nice field. I don't know how many East Coasters would be willing to travel that far for a tourney. When I played NPPL I never went to any of the West Coast events. I just wasn't willing to pay $500+ in airfare just to get to the event, on top of all the other costs of playing ball.
With the airline Covid restrictions I would imagine flying in 2021 is going to be a real hassle. (This is not a political statement, just an opinion).

GoSports setup scheduled upcoming events on their website and their Youtube for all the events except Cali. I wonder if that is the only event that they aren't confident about happening, or if it is maybe just an oversight.

It is. Making me wear a piece of cloth on my face that does nothing to protect anyone as a show of compliance is tyranny.
If they cared they would require medical grade. It's not about saving people either or they'd target things that kill more people per year than corona.
It's about control. That's it. And neither party you could vote for will save you.

Time to show these plebs we can control them. Here's an idea, let's allow a global pandemic to ravage our nation and then so they all know we're in control we'll force everybody to where face masks! The ultimate display of tyranny and control!

You are looking at it all the wrong way..... The mask saves us from the age old "butterface" dilemma.

The only mask that’s been proven to stop respiratory viruses is the m95 mask. You rarely see people wearing them though. The US has the highest mask wearing population but we have the highest infection rate. Those cloth masks are pretty much useless. You can just go step out in the cold, put it on your face and you can see all your breath fly out of the mask. Don’t forget too that a lot of people are constantly touching their faces and masks, and then you’re wearing all the Bacteria and viruses the mask collected throughout the day, on your face. I think the CDC reported that 60-70% of covid infections have been with people who always wear their masks. For all we know, those cloth masks are increasing your chances for infection.

Yeah that isn’t true. Cloths mask have been shown to keep the water droplets that spread covid out of the air.
Also the CDC found that the virus is spread by small family get together like dinners.

The only true scientific study done in the world to this point around the effectiveness of cloth masks to prevent the spread of COVID was done in the Netherlands. Cloth masks were found to be ineffective in preventing the spread of COVID. There has been a lot of “studies” of antidotal evidence that suggests a cloth mask is better than nothing. Diligent hand washing, and sanitization of common areas was much more effective in that Netherlands study.
COVID will be with us forever. While it is more infectious and deadly than the flu, (especially for those over 65) we can not keep the world locked down forever. Vaccinations will help, but I believe we will end up getting yearly COVID shots just like we get yearly flu shots as the virus continues to mutate.
I’ll continue to wear a mask and be as careful as possible ... I’m not concerned with getting COVID, but I want to do everything possible to keep from giving my parents the virus. While they will be getting the vaccine in the next few weeks, that will not prevent them from getting the virus of course, it will just make them much more resistant to it.
Just use common sense folks.

I read that report.... then a day later I read another report stating everything that was wrong with the first report. People are biased. People will lie or twist the truth to push their agenda. Neil Boortz used to start every radio show by saying...." Don't believe a word I say unless you have researched the topic yourself". It is good advice.
Do masks work? I guess it depends on which "expert" you talk too (and choose to believe).
