I'm surprised they didn't make the extra Florida date an Amateur event and the Texas one a pro event.

think the amateur events are at large fields like capital edge not "venues" aka open fields they need to make paintball safe |

That’s what I assumed too. I’m not sure what in Florida is set up like Capital Edge and Paintball FIT for fields. Not many places like that around.

Central Florida paintball might be big enough for an amateur event. I believe they have five or six fields. At least they did a few years ago when I went. But that field is in Lakeland and not Kissimmee.

It was an ignorant comment. The left coast is just as paintball friendly as Texas and Florida. The only difference is the some left coast states will shut down every time someone gets the sniffles. Florida and Texas won't so it is probably easier to plan an event in those states

Also would assume that since a large portion of the NXL teams that compete seem to be trending towards East Coast, Southeast, and Texas they are making the flights easier for those areas. Also would assume it is much cheaper to run an event in states that are not California. |
